Our “Magnificent Michigan & Mackinac Island” tour peeps spent the day playing in the sand!
We climbed Sleeping Bear Dunes and rode dune buggies at Silver Lake.
Also had lunch at the world famous Cherry Republic House.

We spent 2 beautiful days on Mackinac Island - horse carriage rides, bicycle rides and lunch the Grand Hotel.

August 4-10, 2024.
Escape the heat and travel to Michigan and the Unsalted Coastline of Lake Michigan!
This tour will include a visit to the Henry Ford Museum and the Ford Rouge Factory where we will watch a Ford F-150 truck being assembled.
We will also visit Greenfield Village, a 250-acre park which houses Henry Ford’s collection of historic buildings such as the Wright Brothers bicycle shop and Thomas Edison’s laboratory.
Step back in time for 2 nights as we ferry over to Mackinac Island, an island free of automobile traffic with a charming resort-like feel that is full of history and natural wonders.
We will also visit Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, a large area of shifting sand dunes, extending 7 miles along the northeastern shore of Lake Michigan.
We will even enjoy a dune buggy ride over the dunes!

On the last day of our 80th anniversary D-Day tour, our group laid a wreath to remember the nearly 10,000 US military that were killed during the D-Day invasion. What a reminder of the price of freedom🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Our Normandy tour today included beaches and little french villages that were affected by D-Day. We also toured the outstanding Airborne Museum in Sainte-Mère-Église, France.

Our Normandy Tour today was spent at the American cemetary, attending the official ceremony of the 80th anniversary of D-Day. It was a beautiful day of remembrance that included the Red Devils fly over and recognition of the living vets (the youngest being 95). Both the French and American presidents were in attendance and spoke.

Today out Normandy tour included visiting the beaches of Normandy and watching the parachute jumps.
Seeing veterans in their uniforms who are in their late 90’s and 100’s was very moving.

We took the channel Eurostar train from London to Paris today and boarded our motorcoach for Normandy - enjoy a few pictures from the day.

Our 80th Anniversary D-Day Tour to Normandy began in London, touring The War Rooms of Winston Churchhill. Tomorrow we will take the train via the channel to Paris.

We began the day driving through the beautiful Teton's National Park, including a visit to Jenny Lake. This afternoon we had a blast floating the Snake River.

We arrived in Salt Lake City Sunday afternoon and toured the grounds of the Mormon Tabernacle. Today we enjoyed the beautiful drive from Salt Lake City to Jackson, WY where we will spend 2 nights.
