Did you know there's a DVC Member Lounge in Epcot with a Zootopia meet & greet?

We went to the Imaginatrium for the first time on our last night & had the place to ourselves! They have free sodas & snacks, and an entertainment area for kids. It was a great place to sneak away and take a breather.

We also got to spend as much time with Judy Hopps & Nick Wilde as we wanted to! It was the perfect ending to a trip we'll never forget!

Day 6: Our last day was spent at Epcot 💙 We did all the things! It was the International Festival of the Arts, which is my favorite festival.

First, we had lunch at Le Cellier in Canada. The Le Cellier Filet Mignon might be my favorite ever- absolutely delicious.

We enjoyed the Disney Visa character spot, which is an awesome way to spend time with your favorite characters without waiting in 40+ minute queues!

We snagged a reservation at Garden Grill on a whim and I wish we had not. 😂 The characters were adorable, but the food was some of the worst I've had at Disney World. However, it was convenient and saved us from eating on top of a trash can! (iykyk)

We ended the night doing something brand new that we had never done before! I'll update on that next.

Day 5: We spent the day at Magic Kingdom!

If you haven't caught on, not only am I trying to stay at all the Disney resorts but I'm also trying to eat at every character dining restaurant. We had lunch at Crystal Palace and my Pooh-loving boys were so happy! This one was so sweet. It had been years since I had been here and we will be going back!

We had a fun day that focused on rides! We were exhausted & decided to head back to the resort & watch the fireworks on the resort TV. Another perk of staying on property! Happily Ever After is my favorite thing at Disney, & it was sweet to watch it cuddled up with my boys!

Day 4: We had a rest day & spent the morning at Disney Springs! Daddy had to fly back to get to work, but we had a delicious meal at Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' before he left. This food is consistently impressive!

When we got back to our resort, we ran into some friendly faces! A perk of staying on property, for sure.

That night, we went to eat at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian- my favorite resort. I could go on and on about this place- the food was incredible, the atmosphere was amazing, and the characters spent more time with us than I've experienced at any other character dining experience. This is now my #1 Disney dining recommendation!

We also took advantage of the PhotoPass spot at the Grand Floridian- which is included if you purchase Memory Maker!

Day 3: We heard there was a Wicked experience at Universal so obviously we went for a day! It was absolutely perfect in every way- down to Glinda's wand in pretzel form. ✨

The boys loved Spiderman, everyone loved all things Harry Potter, and Velocicoaster absolutely blew me away. Best ride I've ever been on!

That night, we got tickets for After Hours at Magic Kingdom. If you're not familiar, this ticketed event runs from 10 pm - 1 am, but you can enter the parks at 7 pm. The park is essentially empty- we didn't wait for anything all night and did everything we wanted to do. There aren't many characters out, but bottled waters, sodas, and snacks are free! The Disney Enchantment fireworks show was also featured, which was a nice treat!

In my opinion, these events are 100% worth it. It's very possible to get more done in these few hours than you can in a full park day!

This trip, we stayed in Villas at Disney's Old Key West Resort! Talk about spacious. This 2 Bedroom Villa was huge! Great for large parties who want to stay together.

They have pools, playgrounds, everything! They offer buses to the parks and even have boats to Disney Springs. We also tried out Olivia's Cafe for dinner one night and it was great.

Staying at a Disney resort also means you might get some surprise visitors from time to time- and we hit the jackpot with Donald, Goofy, and Pluto! Grayson didn't have his autograph book, so Donald walked him inside and wrote him one to take with him. 💙

This is a Deluxe resort, which means you get Extended Evening Theme Park Hours for free in select parks on select nights. These are fantastic!

Ok, I'm taking you with me day by day starting NOW because we got back so late every night all I could do was crash. 🤣 If you've taken kids to Disney, you know.

Day 2: We went back to 'Ohana for breakfast because we're huge Stitch fans over here! The food was great and we had the most fun.

We took the monorail to Epcot because Doug had an ILL for Guardians, then took the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios for the day! We had Lightning Lanes for everything we wanted and our longest wait was 15 minutes to meet Max & Goofy.

We ate dinner at Roundup Rodeo BBQ, one of our favorites! The boys love how everyone freezes when the restaurant announces that "Andy's coming!" I'll take them there every time for as long as they believe that. ❤️

That night, we checked into our resort that we stayed at for the rest of the week. I'll share that with you next!

We're at Disney World for the next week & I'm taking you along!

We got here & went straight to Ohana (of course). We timed it just right and got to watch Happily Ever After from the window during our meal! 10/10 experience.

We're trying to stay at every Disney resort, & since we added tonight on to our trip we're giving Disney's Yacht Club Resort a try. It is BEAUTIFUL, has great views of the Boardwalk, & you can even see the tiniest bit of the Eiffel Tower in Epcot.

From there, we walked to The Cake Bake Shop Bakery and I almost cried tears of joy. It was gorgeous and every single baked good was covered in glitter- even the cake. 10/10

*Great Wolf Lodge Colorado Springs*

Disclaimer: This is a rant post. 😊

Last week, we went to Colorado for a work trip for my husband and decided to add on a few days at Great Wolf Lodge in Colorado Springs.

Let's just say- that was a horrible decision and I will absolutely never send a client there. 🤣 Don't let these happy pictures fool you- we put on smiles for the boys and made the most of it but this was a one and done experience.

While the resort was beautiful and my boys loved the water park and arcade, they-

-Overcharged us by $730 upon check-in

-Gave us a dirty room after we were exhausted and just paid said $730

-Never notified us that our new room was ready until 7 pm the next day (even though we asked multiple times), so we missed 1 out of 2 water park days and poor Bennett napped on the lobby floor

-Forgot to put our food items in the fridge when they held our luggage

-Messed up by brand new Beis luggage (iykyk). I sobbed in the elevator at this point 🤣

-Gave us a refund for part of our stay then proceeded to charge us for it again TWICE

And that's not even all. The list could go on and on...all I can say is I know that front desk hated to see us coming. The staff was courteous and, while I do try to be understanding and acknowledge that mistakes happen, this was just too much to handle with young children.

Needless to say- we got a refund for our entire stay and they gave the boys free Build-a-Bears. I was able to move on and just remember the fun my boys did have.

Until they just charged us again a week after we checked out and now I'm mad again. You can't make this stuff up. 🤣

I've heard mixed reviews on other locations but this isn't something I'm willing to risk as an agent for my clients.

Update: Blazing hot but VERY low crowds. Weigh your options but I highly recommend anyway. Overall, a great day to be at Magic Kingdom.
