The Icecap News: Santa wants everyone to know that Mrs.Claus has finally got all the elves awake from there break from last Christmas. What a job, to get them awake and back in the groove.
They woke up very hungry. Mrs. Claus spented a couple of day getting them awake and making sure they were all fed and ready to go back to work. The North Pole and Santa's works shop are about to come alive. A lot of excitement with everyone. Santa has been coming up with new toys for all the little boys and girls.
This reporter is amazed how Santa and Mrs.Claus can make Christmas better each year.
The reindeer are starting to train to work together again as a team pulling Santa's sleigh with Rudolph in the lead. And Santa just going along for the ride. Santa is excited about the sleigh, he finally got running lights along the sides so he can spot the roof tops when he is falling from the sky and a heated seat, cause he is getting old, you know. There are going to be a lot of surprises this year so be ready, be good. Santa is always watching.

The Icecap News fashion page: This reporter has learned that Santa has a new set of duds. Mrs. Claus got tired of trying to clean the soot and ashes out of his old ones, so she made him a new suit. Santa is so excited about his new suit, he doesn't want to take it off! He is thinking he might get a spread in GQ. What do you think of Santa's new threads?

The Icecape News: This reporter has not posted anything in a long time. But there are exciting things going on at Santa's workshop. The elves are waking up from their long sleep after the last Christmas. The workshop elves are building new toys and working on new toys never seen before. So children get ready for the new toys.
Santa will be scheduling trips to all parts of the country seeing who is being naughty and who is being nice. So, children you could see Santa anywhere. Rudolph and the reindeer are beginning to get ready for the long trip. Eating healthy and exercising. Rudolph is polishing his nose so it will bright for Christmas night.
Santa wants everyone to have a great summer and love one another.
I as a Santa reporter wants to know how many likes Santa and Mrs. Claus can get. Can you show your love for them?

The Icecap news: Santa had me to let everyone know that he would be out and obout in the Madison area last week. Here is a photo of him traveling magically without being seen. As you can see he is able to travel and even stop and not be seen. So it is important that we all be good, because Santa is watching. More from Santa later.

The cookies this year were out of this world
He said he must have gained ten pounds. Also the reindeer, after the carrots and reindeer food, it took a little longer making it back to the North Pole

The Icecap: News from the North Pole. Santa will be at the Christmas Tree lighting at the Main Street park in down town Vicksburg, Ms. Everyone is invited. Tree lighting around 6pm. Santa is excited to be able to see everyone.

The Icecap: this reporter has it in good authority that Santa has been sighted in the Ridgeland, Ms area today. He heard they had a cold snap and decided to make an early scouting trip to start checking on the children. If you know any little ones, let them know Santa is out and about. He also has a few adults in his sights!! You're never too old for Santa.

The Icecap: News from the North Pole. Santa has been very busy, since the big night. Santa hope everyone was happy on Christmas Day. The elves have settled down for a North Pole nap. This reporter might be able to have some special time with Santa. I really have a great job, being able to be with Santa and Mrs. Claus in a more relaxed atmosphere. I am so lucky. Remember you never know when or where you might see Santa. So be good. This reporter thanks it may be time for a short North Pole nap. Good night and pleasant dreams.

The Icecape: This reporter has been real busy. Santa is always on the move. He has been on vacation and now he is back to business. The elves have been awakened from their long sleep. Only Mrs. Claus is able to wake them up. And boy were they hungry Mrs. Claus spent most of the day in the kitchen cooking. And some of the requests were very strange. Elf mash and goats milk, frosted flakes, iceberg lettuce. Strange breakfast food.
The North Pole has come to life. This reporter will try to keep up with all the activities.

The Icecap: This reporter has had quite the time catching up with Santa since Christmas. Santa tells me that he and his elves are already busy making plans for 2018. It seems that the number of children on the "Nice List" was so great last year that Santa almost ran out of time. He came very, very close to being caught going up the chimney at his last stop in 2017. He and the elf in charge of planning the delivery route will be busy looking into ways to speed things up. This reporter has no doubt that Santa will figure this out. He always does!

The Icecap: Why They're Called Reindeer, this reporter has a scoop. Most people think that they are called reindeer because they wear reins when pulling Santa's sleigh.
The fact is that when they are flying at high altitudes, clouds get hooked on their antlers. And when they drop down to a lower altitude the clouds condense and form water droplets and rain on the deer's head. If we were going to be accurate, we would refer to the deer as "raindeer". I hope this clears up the cloud about the reason they are called reindeer.
This reporter has been able to interview the reindeer with the help of the elves that take care of them. So be expecting more about the famous group. More news later. Stay tuned.

The Icecap report: There has been sadness in Santaland this week. Santa has heard that there are people that don't believe. Santa gets his magic from the belief that comes from the heart of those who do believe.
A special request from Mrs.Claus and the elves and Rudolph and the other reindeer is to make and let Santa know that the whole world believes. Let him know that you are excited about the holidays. And you are anticipating his special visit.

The Icecap: The news from Santaland. Things are really happening. Everyone is busy getting things ready for this holiday season.
The elf that is in charge of setting Santa's route was concerned that Santa was not going to complete his trip in the time alotted. But after talking with Santa and Rudolph his worries were put at ease. Santa has made some adjustments to his sleigh. So if you happen to see a streak of light similar to a shooting star, that could be Santa. No one knows just how fast Santa's sleigh and Rudolph can go. I think you could say, Santa's got a hot rod sleigh. More news later.

The Icecap: Santa has been hard to catch up with this summer. There have been sightings as far south as the Gulf Coast. Don't worry I have it on good authority that he is back at Santaland. The Elves are busy in the workshop and the reindeer are checking out their flight plan. Santa asked this reporter to remind all the children that it's not too early to start working on that wish list. Check back for more news from Santaland.

The Icecap: This reporter has been on a mission to acquire a top secret recipe from Mrs. Claus' kitchen. That is one reason why there had not been any reports before now. The recipe is for Mrs. Claus' Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Nut Cookies.

Beat together until smooth
1/4 cup cooking oil (or seal-skin oil, if you can)
1/2 cup granulated sugar (or glacier sand if possible)
1/2 cup brown sugar (or toasted snow flakes)
2 eggs(Nerd eggs, if you can find any)
Mix in the following
2 cups flour(or petals from honey flowers)
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg ( dried dandelion juice)
1/2 teaspoon salt(or North Pole ice crystals)
1 teaspoon soda (or ju-ju plant powder, if you can get it)
2 teaspoons cinnamon ( or Cimarron sneezes)
1 teaspoon baking powder (or petrified tree sap)
2 cups oatmeal (or uncooked elf mush, if you can buy it)
Mix well, then add 12 ounces of chocolate chips and 1 1/2 cups of chopped walnuts. Bake at 375 degrees for 13 minutes. Will give you about three dozen cookies. Or one real big one.

They always put a smile on Santa's face. More new later.

The Icecape: This reporter has science news from Santaland. Science News: Time Travelocity. NASA wanting to travel to Mars and other places in space in a short time. They have become very interested in how Santa and the reindeer are able to travel the distance they do in the short amount of time it takes.
Astronaut Major Traveler was assigned to explore this ability that Santa has, hoping to shed some light on this time travel. Santa is always willing to do his part. Meetings were held to discuss this with Santa. But in the end the conclusion was: Santa can when no one can. So when you look to the sky and see something you don't always see, could be Santa leading the way. More news later.Ho Ho Ho.

The Icecap: This reporter has news. Alert! Alert!, Disaster at the North Pole Santaland. Mrs Claus has run out of those little sprinkles that go on top of Santa's cookies. A special message has been sent out, colored sprinkles needed and soon. You know they make Santa's cookies an even more special treat. Santa sure does like those Christmas cookies. The Icecap: This reporter has news from the Culture and Arts Society of Santaland. A new play is being produced and directed by the North Pole cultural society. Tryouts for the lead role are scheduled for early December. Looking for someone that has a magical presence, looks good in red, able to travel long distances in a short amount of time.
