Melissa Little Appointed as Tourism Director and Public Information Officer
City of Carthage proudly announces the appointment of Melissa Little as the new Tourism Director and Public Information Officer, effective January 21, 2025. With over a decade of experience in marketing and strategic communication, Melissa brings a wealth of expertise and a fresh perspective to these vital roles.
In her new role as Tourism Director, Melissa will leverage her extensive marketing experience to position the City of Carthage as a premier destination for visitors. She will focus on creating innovative campaigns to highlight the area’s attractions, events, and unique offerings, fostering economic growth and community engagement.
Melissa’s career spans more than 10 years in marketing, during which she has successfully led campaigns that drove engagement and increased visibility for various organizations. Her expertise in branding, digital marketing, and audience engagement will be instrumental in achieving the goals of both the tourism department and public information office.
