Take a picture, it’ll last longer!

Have camera, will travel. Nice! While you’re in a park, protect the things you come to enjoy, as well as yourself and other photographers, by following these simple rules:

📸 Oh, snap! Zoom with your lens, not your feet.

📸 Stay on designated trails and walkways.

📸 Park in roadside pullouts.

📸 Leave the drone at home.

📸 Felt cute, might be in pain later. Selfie goals should not include a bear.

We’re just owl-in around.

“Friends: one to three is sufficient.” - Ron Swanson

Which owl friend are you?

🦉 The Super Active

You’re the diurnal one - active both day and night. This is unlike other owls that are mainly active at night.

🦉 The Prepper

Like many burrowing owls, you like to organize and may hoard food to get through lean times.

🦉 The Crafter

In order to let other creatures know that your burrow is occupied, you decorate the entrance to your burrow with assorted pieces of trash like paper scraps, straw wrappers, and bottle caps.

National parks are home to a great diversity of birds. Learn more at https://www.nps.gov/subjects/birds/index.htm
