Crackle backs are a staple when the water is low and clear. I'll have a fresh batch ready for the trout, for next Friday.

2024 VENDOR MAP

We are thrilled to welcome everyone to our Christmas in October Annual Chili and Salsa Cook-Off this Saturday! Get ready for a fun-filled day of delicious flavors, friendly competition, and a fantastic community event!

Vendors may begin setting up at 6 am and vehicles must be off the square no later than 7:30 am. We also ask that vendors do not park their vehicles on West St between 6th and 7th street as well as on 7th street between Townsend and West St. Booths open at 8am.

Thank you for being a part of this spicy celebration! If you have any last-minute questions, feel free to reach out. Let’s make this a cook-off to remember!

Light rainfall occurred earlier this morning, it wasn't much as most areas are 2-3" behind normal, but it's better than most have seen over the last month.

While we did get moisture, it is still not safe to burn. The foliage and ground will soak what little rain we got up quickly, and it's likely that by the end of the day, you will not be able to tell it rained.

Burn bans are still inplace, and are enforced, so please
DO NOT BURN!

Belle tents came down because of spring tornado damage…. Going to be adding something different.

For now anyone can simply rent these decks as camp sites (pitch your own tent)… comes with your own private shower house and toilet in the woods…or simply use the sleeping hammock to camp out under the stars….
