When you are in the customer service business your focus has to be on service and not the money. If you are providing a quality service and providing value the money will come.

I was reminded of this today.

I have a customer for which I have quoted a couple trips. In each case this customer acknowledge I provided some great options but chose another offer. However, after returning from his trips he said I should have taken the offer you presented.

Long story short this customer surprised me with a Cashapp deposit and a note that simply said "thanks for providing quality service and I know your time is valuable".
