We have power and our phones are back up, so we will be open tomorrow (Monday, August 24th) at 830am.

Computers still aren’t connecting to our network, but hopefully that will be fixed tomorrow. One step at a time, we are slowly getting back to business. 🌍

We have power, yay!!!!

Unfortunately, we don’t have phones or internet yet, boo!

We are hopeful we will be fully up and running Monday morning, August 24th. We will keep you posted!

Good news - the power poles have been replaced 😊

Bad news - we still don’t actually have power 😞

They’re saying we *should* have power by the end of the day Tuesday, August 18th. At this point our office will continue to be closed until power is restored. We will keep you posted.

Still have downed power lines and no power at the office so we will be closed the rest of this week.

Hope to be back to normal Monday, but will post to let everyone know either way.

While the only places we are currently all traveling are within our homes, there are many national parks, zoos, museums, etc that are offering livestreams during this time.

In light of everything happening with COVID-19 and things changing daily, at this time, we have decided to reduce our office hours and operate on limited staff starting Monday, March 23rd through Friday, April 3rd. As the situation continues to develop, we’ll re-evaluate that as needed.

Starting Monday, March 23rd, we will be open Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:00pm. We ask that if you have business you need to take care of with us these next two weeks, please do so via phone (319-366-8200) or email ([email protected]).

We currently don’t have any tours scheduled in the next month, and will evaluate each tour beyond that as necessary. We will always make the decision for everyone’s safety based on the information we have available at that time.

During this time, we are taking advantage of the opportunity to deep clean and thoroughly sanitize our motorcoaches and office space. We wish everyone good health and peace during this uncharted time, and look forward to traveling with you again. After this, we will all be ready to get out and get away.

In light of all that is going on right now, we are being proactive and cancelling our March Travel Time with Rhonda which was scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, March 16th. We will share the date for our April event once it’s been set.

We will be recording a video of what is coming up later this year and will post it here on our page. If you see something that is of interest, you can either hop on our website (www.cedarvalleyworldtravel.com) for more details, or contact Rhonda (319-366-8200 or [email protected])

At this time, our office continues to be open normal hours and all of our tours are going on as scheduled since none are planned in the immediate future. As this situation continues to develop, we will assess this on a tour by tour basis when/if needed.

In the meantime, we are stepping up our efforts to make sure our staff and clients are as safe as possible with added hand sanitizer stations, increased cleaning and sanitizing of all surfaces in both our office and our motorcoaches, and advising everyone to stay home if they are not feeling well.

Please visit www.cdc.gov and www.idph.iowa.gov for the latest information and recommendations during this situation. If we all work together during this time, hopefully we can return to “business as usual” in our lives sooner rather than later.
