Island View Resort Located on Cedarville Bay in the heart of the beautiful Les Cheneaux Islands, in Michigan's Eastern Upper Peninsula.

We are centrally located between Mackinac Island, Sault Ste Marie and Drummond Island. Sandy beach, dock slips, boat and cabin rentals. Beachfront cottages, marina, campsites, boat rental and Vacation Home.
8.5 acres partially wooded with 400 feet of Southern exposure beachfront. Cottages and Vacation Home are furnished including kitchen. Each beach front rental has a beach side wood deck, picnic table, charcoal grill and fire pit.

Jeff Lipple and Capt. Greg Lipple of Island Charters were able to rescue a deer that had fallen through the ice in Cedarville Bay of the Les Cheneaux Islands. Note: going out onto thin and dangerous ice is not recommended. We meticulously checked the ice on the way in and out, we were wearing ice gear that floats, had ice picks, a ladder, rope, jet sleds and somebody watching and assisting from shore. Always have an emergency plan and never go alone without letting someone know where you’re going and when you’ll be back.

Check out Papins Resort! Did you know we also have an awesome resort on Drummond Island? 14 cabins on 14 acres located on Scott Bay within Potagannissing Bay. If you know Drummond Island fishing, you know it's the place to be! Capt. Greg and I caught 130 Perch right off the dock (sorry you can only fish on it if you're a guest there 😉. We would've caught more, but ran out of bait. There is also excellent Walleye, Bass, Herring and Pike fishing. We still have some Summer and Fall availability. Island View Resort: Episode 1 - This past monday we had a pretty awesome day at the office. This year we have 4 Jamaican students staying with us, Anniela, Rodrina, Isha and Veniss. They’ve been working hard at the Cedarville Hotel, Resort and other businesses around town, so we figured we were over due on taking them out to see the area and have some fun. Isha made some delicious chicken curry and jerk chicken for us all, then we headed over to Government Bay to enjoy some good food and sunshine. The girls taught us a Jamaican game called Dandy Shandy, which is similar to dodge ball. You basically have two throwers and the rest of the group runs back and forth trying not to get hit. Jack ended up winning. Then we went for a hike through the island. I ended up hiding in the woods and scaring everyone. It was a great way to share and enjoy the beauty of the Les Cheneaux Islands. Shout out to Jeremy over at Papins Resort who is on episode 5 at his resort and encouraged me to get one going for Island View.
