This time last year we started our first Vrbo . We had no idea how it was going to go, if we could manage the site, bookings and keep up the maintenance, lawncare....
We have had so many laughs in the process, some good purchases & some bad, some furniture parts went missing, long days, a never ending list of projects, a million trips back and forth, fun times with friends & families in between bookings.
It has been a such an adventure & a blessing! I am sure it has a lot to do with my amazing partner/husband.
This review is the icing on the cake!
Irish Hills -Perfect Place to make memories!

We have stayed in several rental homes, and this is our favorite. The home was very spacious and laid out perfectly for a group. The large, open concept sitting room, dining room, and kitchen was incredible. You could watch both the sunrise and the sunset from the comfortable couches or while you were making a meal. Everything was perfectly clean, the kitchen was well appointed, and the downstairs game room was a wonderful bonus! The outdoor space was perfect as well. We really enjoyed exploring the beautiful, clean lake on the paddle boats and kayaks. We also rented the pontoon boat for a day and had a blast jumping off of it into the water. We had a fire in the fire pit just about every night of our stay and we spent a lot of time on the deck playing games. The home is located on a quiet street in a neighborhood that was great for a morning walk or run. We did not have time to try the driving range or winery that are within walking distance of the house, but we hope to on our next visit. The house is VERY close to the Michigan Speedway and an easy drive to Hillsdale College. A perfect home for a quiet getaway!!

We are so excited to share with our friends & family our first vacation rental!
We^re certain that you will fall in love with our lake house, just like we did. We have spent the past few months furnishing, cleaning & updating it so you can be the first to enjoy it.
It’s located in the beautiful Irish Hills area, far enough away to feel like you're up north, but close enough to get there quickly.

It’s on South Lake, an all sports private lake, with so many things to do and enjoy. For starters, take a look at that stunning view. Wall to wall windows in the massive great room and kitchen area make a great place to gather with your guests.

The main level has 4 bedrooms (newer mattresses & bedding), 2 full bathrooms and even a small work area if you need some quiet time. Adjacent to the great room is a screened in patio with cool patio lighting to enjoy those cool nights.

The walkout basement is a fun place with a game table, a basketball game, foose ball table, air hockey table, giant connect 4 game, Pac-Man video game & more! There's a sofa sleeper in the basement and there are also 2 futons and a toddler bed in the home.

We also have some toys to share, so you can enjoy being in the water as much as being on the water. There are 2 one person kayaks and 2 peddle boats that seat up to 5 each. Explore, swim, paddle or pedal your way around this beautiful, clean, sandy bottom lake.

We will be live on Vrbo & Airbnb June 14th.
Please let us know if you have a date you want to book & we will do our best to keep that open for you! It will be listed for $375 per night with a rate of $425 for 7/16-18 and 8/21-22. There is 3 night minimum, $ 130 cleaning fee & the sites fees but you will receive a 20% discount for being one of our first bookings!
