I started making clothes and bows for my daughter when she was about 6 months old. To be honest, I did this because we went from a 2 income household to a 1 income household and added a sweet precious gift from God! Now being the "mathematician" I am ;) I knew that adding a mouth to feed and removing an income did not make for many shopping trips; however, how do you not buy the CUTEST accessories
for your little bundle of joy?!? I mean we all know that our baby NEEDS the monogrammed shirt, matching bow, tights, etc. ;) hence the "beginning" stages of CKB's began in my tiny over-priced apartment in Colorado. Now I did not know this was the beginning but then again there were many things I did not know as a sleep deprived first time mommy! I began making small bows and dresses for my sweet little angel and then friends would ask for some and we would have "sew" parties and enjoy the fruits of our labor when others would notice how CUTE our children were in their stylist "handmade" outfits. In 2012 my husband's job moved us to Kansas (I know right!) and I continued to sew just for the girls (oh yeah, we added another blessing this year!) and again others began to ask where their clothes & bows came from. After a HUGE push from my sweet hubby & sweet friends I decided to sell my "work" and thus the adventure OFFICIALLY began! Now I'm sure you are wondering, "what kind of name is CKB's?" So let me explain, my oldest daughter is named Charli Kaye B, our middle is Camdyn Kate B, and our newest addition is Cragen Kevi B. Since the business started for my little CKBs how could I name it anything else?
