Finished today. I had to wait on some to come in to finish it. I’m not a huge lord of the rings fan, but love my dragons and a finished project.

Got this beast dropped off yesterday. It was a beautiful project with a beautiful story behind it. The man who collected all these law enforcement badges passes and his daughter wanted to have the quilt redone to enforce its durability. Thank you so much for trusting me with this sentimental piece. (Quilt size 102x102”)

Finished stitching these last year at the end of the Halloween season. I was readying series by and watching and fell in love with the vibe. Finally got them made into walnut shell filled pillows. has a whole series of baba yaga patterns and other folklore themed on her Etsy shop. She is even having a labor day sale at the moment. Plus, purchasing her patterns supports her and her family who are dealing with bombings in the Ukraine.

Violet starting school has gotten me into full blown fall mode. I made batches of stuff, watched Halloween movies, and started a new cross stitch project with an Edgar Allen Poe theme. Blake saw the linen and went, “What happened to your fabric!” He knows how much hand dyed linen costs, lol.

Finally working on one of my own UFOs on the longarm. Patriotic for a Summer wall hanging. I always seem to get motivated to make seasonal stuff at the END of said season, but at least it eventually gets done.
