Winner, winner , 🧀 dinner! Congratulations to Rogue Creamery for an unsurprising, but more than deserving, win at the World Cheese Awards! Happy 60th anniversary Mt. Ashland Ski Area!

Mt. Ashland Ski Area unveiled this years logo and theme! Happy 60 years!

"The Mt. Ashland Ski Area kicked off its 60th anniversary celebration this week, revealing the logo and theme for the upcoming season and revealing ambitious plans for the future. The anniversary theme is “Elevate Mt. Ashland” as the ski area focuses on enhancing the visitor experience and better serving those who are new to mountain sports. First opened in 1964, Mt. Ashland still uses much of the original infrastructure and plans to revitalize the facility as visitation continues to increase."

The City of Central Point is pleased to be a part of the 4th of July parade tradition that has taken place for years in our wonderful town. We know this parade has become a family tradition for many of our citizens, and we take great pride in our community members' and businesses' safety and well-being. This 4th of July, we are asking our community to come together and follow a few parade etiquette guidelines to make the parade experience seamless this year. We kindly request that all seating and blankets be placed out on the street starting on Monday, July 3rd, at 6 pm and not before. It is also imperative that nothing is blocking sidewalks or walkways that would prevent ADA access. If City Staff does find any of the mentioned items out of compliance, the items will be removed and placed at the nearest intersection or area on the street of removal.
