Please meet baby girl Quinn Adaline, born at home on October 9th 2015 at 5:38pm, 8 pounds 5 ounces, 21 inches. She eagerly rushed into the world to share birthdays with mommy and was born into water, caught by mommy and daddy. We are so humbled and thankful for this sweet girl!

I'm now interviewing with clients due April 2016 and beyond-contact me early as my schedule fills quickly!

Yes it does! I nearly exclusively pumped with my firstborn due to working at a corporate office and being away so much. Raise of hands from my pumping mamas??

Your baby *is* getting enough in those first days! As baby's stomach expands and the need for more milk increases, your baby is working to teach your body what he or she needs. Nursing on demand brings in your milk as quickly as possible and teaches your body what baby needs to thrive.

It's World Breastfeeding Week!

This year, I'm celebrating 16 months of breastfeeding with Lucy, which has included being pregnant 7 of those months! Never saw that one coming, but I'm proud of my body and its ability to nourish one life while growing another.

This is a picture from last year at Lucy's birth but important just the same.

Other moms deserve to feel comfortable doing what's normal. So here's to all the mamas I know who breastfed too-whether it was an hour, a week, a month, a year or beyond. You're all awesome! 💗💛💜💚❤️

I had the honor of helping an incredibly strong mama yesterday. I have been a humble witness to many births at this point, but this mama left an imprint on my heart as she allowed me to comfort her and support her. I absolutely LOVE what I do!

Today I had a little doula-in-training tag along for a last minute prenatal meeting and to pick up a few placentas...apparently she can't hang! Didn't even make it through our lunch date.

This is fascinating! Really makes me think about how much chunkier my son (my firstborn) was even months into breastfeeding, than my daughter. Both born 8 pounds, 9 ounces at birth...

This weather makes babies fly into the world! ☁️☔️ This little guy was so impatient that he only gave mama an hour notice this morning that he was coming, and was almost born in the parking lot! Happy Birth Day handsome! 💙

Spent the wee hours of the night supporting a mama through a beautiful family centered cesarean birth. 'Little' 9 pound gender surprise baby BOY was so comfy in his breech position that he even had his arms up above his head!
