UNC Vietnamese Student Association The Vietnamese Student Association at UNC-Chapel Hill is an on-campus organization for those who are You don’t have to be Vietnamese to join!

Our General Body Meetings are held every other Thursday in the Student Union and will feature authentic Vietnamese cuisine for members. We are a fun-loving group that participates in many community events and go on affordable excursions together (such as the beach and mountains).

Tough love. Something that we hate to bear, but it is something that we need to hear. Often times, our parents want what is best for us with the best intentions. However, those intentions can be presented in harsh ways that can result in negative connotations. This could lead to constant comparison, competition, and lower our self esteem. Through these characters, we hope you are able to find resonance in their situations. Although these situations and characters from the skit are made up, we hope you are able to open up, relate, or feel empathy towards these characters. With VietNite coming up, we have prepared a little teaser for you guys! Get excited for the skit that tells the story of our theme “Bị Thương.”
