Sunrise Boat House is a 1400 square foot, 3-bedroom, 2-bath home, with a coastal cottage feel. The home’s spacious lake-facing deck is a perfect spot to sip your coffee, watch the sunrise, and see the abundant wildlife of the area. You're in store for some fun on the water with swimming, fishing, & kayaking (3 kayaks included) available off the home’s private, year-round, deep-water dock. If you b

ring your boat along, you won’t need to search for the nearest launch, as this home offers a private boat launch right into the calm waters of the large cove the home is situated on. The home has central heating and air conditioning, as well as ceiling fans throughout. All beds (1 king, 1 queen, 3 twins) have high quality mattresses with memory foam toppers and soft, 100% cotton sheets (400-1000 thread count). All linens are washed in free & clear detergents without added fragrance. There are 2 full bathrooms in the home (1 with a tub), and for your convenience, both bathing and lake towels are provided. The well-equipped kitchen has all the amenities of home including a reverse osmosis drinking water system, granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances (summer 2022), and a large selection of pots & pans and bakeware. There are dishes, silverware, and glassware to service 10+. Happy hour is also covered, as the home includes wine, rocks, and martini glasses. With the kitchen open to the family room and lake view, you can enjoy gorgeous vistas while preparing meals indoors; or shift outdoors and sear your food to perfection on the 6-burner grill located on the large, lake-side deck. The deck also hosts a table with 4 chairs (and umbrella) for dining al fresco, as well as two zero-gravity lounge chairs and two Adirondack chairs. A hammock is also available for you to relax in, just steps off the deck. If having someone else cook is more your idea of vacation, this home is a quick 5-minute boat ride to the Rusty Anchor/Catfish Johnny’s Restaurant as well as Liberty on the Lake Restaurant and Bar (and marina). Additionally, the Chapin Publix Grocery Store and Lowes Foods (each approximately 6.0 miles away) will deliver pre-made deli foods and groceries to the house via Instacart. For entertainment beyond the lake, the family room has a 70” SMART TV (Roku) with Spectrum basic cable, and lots of comfy seating, including a sectional sofa, 2 chairs with ottomans, and 2 swivel chairs to easily enjoy the tv or lake views. Every bedroom has a wall-mounted 32" SMART TV (Roku) as well. For additional fun, game-night is ready and waiting for you and your group with a cabinet stocked full of board games, card games, and puzzles. When it’s finally time for some evening relaxation, star gazing over the lake is incredible! The home also has a backyard fire pit and 6 Adirondack chairs ready and waiting for you to roast marshmallows (8 sticks included) or enjoy your favorite beverage and swap tall tales about the day’s fishing adventures! While we would love to say that you can truly “escape from it all” at Sunrise Boat House, we do have Spectrum Internet Ultra, Wi-Fi, and excellent cell phone coverage… but we promise not to tell anyone if you don’t! Policies/House Rules:

A signed short-term lease agreement and copy of a government-issued ID are required from the primary renter. The short-term lease agreement will be sent upon booking request. The primary renter must be at least 25 years of age. No parties or large events
No smoking
No pets
No weapons
No candles

Quiet Hours: The home is located in a quiet, safe, neighborhood with full-time residents. No parties or events are permitted at Sunrise Boat House and guests are requested to respect outdoor quiet hours after 10pm. Parking: Do not park in the yard as it can damage the septic lines. Fishing: Dispose of all unused fish portions in airtight bags in the exterior trash bin. Fish entrails are not allowed back into the lake. Thank you!

Coming soon... We are SO excited to share that Sunrise Boat House - Lake Murray is going to be getting a new dock later this summer!!! We are fortunate to have 360 Dock & Deck doing this work for us, as they do top-quality, amazing docks! This weekend we met with one of the owners, Rick Webber, and he showed us our new 12' x 20' floating dock that was just finished being built in their shop!
