Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (AKL) 🦓🦒🐘

Animal Kingdom Lodge is an amazing and unique experience! It's a deluxe resort with a calm, laid back vibe. It is split into 2 buildings Jambo (main resort) and Kidani (villas) (note there are villas at Jambo). The best part is you can see the animals from you balcony (if you have savanna view room) OR from the lookout points throughout the redort. Animals get so close and it's so amazing to see in real life! While you do bus to every park, the buses run frequently and it's nice to be secluded because it minimizes the foot traffic and keep the resort peaceful. There is no other resort like this!

Kilimanjaro Club Level:
This club level level offering has some of the most delicious food inspired by Adrican Culture. It overlooks the lobby from the top floor making it such a beautiful view. Similar to other club level options it includes select beverages (alcoholic and non alcoholic) and foods (breakfast, snack, Hors d'Oeuvres, and dessert). It's a great way to sit back, relax, and enjoy everything the resort has to offer!

This resort is a dream resort! It is so peaceful, has the charm of the African culture, and the unique experience of waking up to the animals out your balcony.

Tips:
- Request a room close to the lobby (it can be a far walk if you dont)
-Take the small shuttle van back and forth from Jambo to Kidani or vice versa.
-Request a partial savanna view for a studio room
-Kidani has a large playground splash pad for kids
-Do the bead collection scavenger hunt!
-Starlight Safari is an extra tour you can right at AKL!
