Fall Boys’ Camp at Three Rivers Respite calls for a cruise through the Harbor and shark tooth hunting at Drum Island. The boys will spend the remainder of their day at camp playing games and building friendships. We love being a part of their camp experience!

Jaxson was diagnosed with severe aplastic anemia and admitted to the Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital in May. After multiple rounds of chemotherapy, and five months of endless hospital visits and stays, Jaxson recently received a bone marrow transplant from his little brother. How cool is that!

Jaxson has been meeting all his goals set by the doctors and everyone is optimistic that he can attend school again in March. Stay strong my man and keep pushing forward 💪

Ivan was born at MUSC with a congenital heart defect - Hypoplastic left heart syndrome. He had three open heart surgeries before he was 3 to replumb his circulatory system.

He was placed on the heart transplant list 8/2023, and was blessed with his new heart on 8/25/2024. He was inpatient at Shawn Jenkins about a month before he was matched and amazingly recovered very quickly. We’ve been in the Charleston area since mid-July, staying with family (pictured) and hoping to be able to go home next week.

Ivan has lived a full 15 years of life despite his unique anatomy, and is looking forward to seeing what life is like with a full circulatory system (something most of us don’t think about).

After years of battling heart conditions and being in the hospital more than out, Jackson is strong, healthy, and headed home after positive scans this week! 🙌💪

His favorite part of the trip was seeing MUSC Children’s Hospital from the water ❤️

Jackson’s nurse, who cared for him for years, was able to join us on the trip - how cool is that!
