Today my grandfather would have been 126 years old! He came to the US from Armenia in 1916. He spoke 5 languages. Had a couple of Armenian hotels in Asbury Park. Played backgammon better than anyone. Had a 7th grade education. He was a highly successful entrepreneur! He was an amazing human and a super loving grandpa. Kind, loving and generous. He is my inspiration! Honored to be in his lineage.Thank you for teaching me to work smart and not hard! Live Big! Love More! Love and miss you, Grampy.

What inspires you to stand in your power? When I feel the most empowered, the most creative, the most free, the most I am, I am in a place of Being Love. This tat is a constant reminder for me. Brings me back to center. Helps me get back to the best Chris I can be when I get knocked off my feet. When I am in a space of Love there is no room for Fear. I can not feel both at once. I can't feel fear when I am feeling love and visa versa. Totally impossible. Fear based thoughts give my power away. I go to my Higher Power and ask for guidance. Deduce the fear standing in my way. I choose love.

These pics blow me away! 4 years apart! Same restaurant, Jack of Cups Saloon. Jack of Cups always brings the magic! Their food is comfy and tasty every time! Definitely in my top 10 all-time favs of Charleston dining. Freida and Beatrice both did this pose on their own. No coaxing. Beatrice might have felt Freida's vibe, or this is Freida's way of saying hi. Nonetheless, I love the synchronicity and blessed to have had the experience 💜 so special.

What scares you?

My biggest fear is not being able to communicate and connect. Public speaking freaks me out! I shake all over. Inside and out. This so hard to put into words...lol..(Partly, it sounds so silly when i say it)...I have this dream where sounds are coming out of my mouth and no one can understand me. I can not connect. When I wake up, I am so stoked it was just a dream! When I started Real Estate, that was learning a whole new language, and I was terrified I would not be understood. That I could not express myself or the information correctly. Lots of experience helped solve that one. But mostly believing in myself. I guess as I am writing this, it is more of a fear of disconnection and separation. Sometimes, I DO think I speak another language that no one understands. This is what my mind/ego (drunken monkey 🐒) says, and I know in my heart this fear warrants no merit! 👊 I know and believe I am loved.💜 I guess this feeling of disconnection is a reminder to me as to how connected We really are. And brings me back to center. Embracing the dark to see the light. We are One. 🕉 ....(side note: I'm still not down w public speaking....🙂)

Sometimes life is out of focus. This past January was a tough one. I usually do DRY FEBUARY but this year I did DRY JANUARY. ( I usually welcome drying out lol) Then I added a food based cleanse on top of that. Then I added balancing my hormones into the mix. Then add a minor medical procedure to the docket. My body was taking full control and my mind was not going along willingly. There was a whole lot of releasing going on. Not the pleasant kind. There was a ton of stinkin thinkin happening. Health is one of my core values and I want to get some balance within my soul’s temple. All of this work is my choice and it pretty much sucked. I chose this path. Yes, this path is pretty much self inflicted. Needless to say it has been chaotic in so many ways. (It even snowed in South Carolina! wth) The bright side is that I powered through. I perservered. I got more clarity. I lost a couple of healthy pounds. I realized that through the chaos, I was able to achieve a little bit more balance. I am more confident and empowered. My mind and body are more in sync. I am in gratitude for the focus and awareness and healing every day.

The Red Rocks of Colorado, without a doubt, uplift my spirit. The beauty of nature resonates deep within me, opening my heart and inspiring the awe factor. The sun blazed down that day as we stood at the trailhead, staring at a sign that warned us of potential dangers—mountain lions and rattlesnakes, eeek! (Side note: we were there to see Khruangbin, who will also be at Firefly Distillery on April 15th!) Torn between adventure and caution, we were in at a pause. That’s when a cute gal appeared, raving about the trail and urging us to go for it. Minutes later, she returned, freaked out, having spotted a snake. What now?! We decided to go for it, reasoning that she probably scared the snake away. And wow—what a choice it was. The trail was laid out in the most beautiful color and organic flow, and the skyscapes brought peace and serenity. So freaking breathtaking. It was that experience that filled me up and remined me what it means to feel whole.Throughout our Colorado trip, we faced moments like this, where our choices shaped our experience. Sometimes we took the road less traveled, and other times we didn’t—but every choice brought something amazing. When you feel stuck, remember: the power to choose is always in your hands, and those choices can lead to incredible, life-changing moments.

Do you see the look on Beatrice’s face? My heart. The things she does for me being the daughter of a Realtor. She brings the unconditional love all day long. It was so hard keeping a straight face on this one 😆. Truth be told, taking a bath is Beatrice’s least favorite activity. From time to time, I have to do some things that are not my idea of fun. I learned to do those things, FIRST. I found there is way more reward in knocking it out right away rather than holding on to it in procrastination station mode. It takes up too much space in my brain. I like creating space for the amazing things I want in my life. My rewards are greater once powering those least desireable hurdles first. I am left with a sense of accomplishment and more space for the good stuff to come in. Believe me, Beatrice was rewarded with mad treats after this one!
