I think the girls and I may have finally caught up on all our missed sleep from Disney! We had the best time, even in the 100°+ real feel temps (neck fans are saviors). We averaged a little over 20k steps a day, and that was with us taking mid day breaks!

It's funny how every time we visit, we change which parks we do. Our last trip in February, AK was the girls favorite!

This trip's stats using Park Hopper:
1 day - Animal Kingdom
2 days - Hollywood Studios
2 days - Magic Kingdom
3 days - Epcot (1 day was all for Kid Cot fun stops around World Showcase for passport signing and exploring)

We may or may have made a trip to Epcot all for face painting lol, but it worked out in that we got to see Harmionious and ride Frozen again!

One of the benefits of staying at a moderate or deluxe resort is that their pools have awesome slides for kids and adults to enjoy! We are currently taking a midday break and swimming at Kidani's pool before heading back to Magic Kingdom for Tiana's!

The girls and I had a great day at Animal Kingdom today! We hit the road at 5 am, and after a pit stop at Buc-ee's we were ready for our Disney day at 11:30am. We alternated rides and shows with it being so got and humid today. The neck fans make a huge difference!

The girls loved completing the Wilderness Explorers badges, and of course getting their favorote: Boba at Pongu Pongu. We jumped on Flight of Passage at 6:59 a minute before closing in the hopes of seeing Pandora glowing at night. It wasn't in the cards, but the girls loved dancing in the rain in their ponchos in front of the tree of life!

We were the last car in the giraffe parking section 😄 but ending taller park night with a rainbow and checking in at Animal Lodge. Tomorrow we will be taking on Epcot, and mid-day the pools at Jambo House!

Say hey to our travel advisor Bree!

We asked her why she loves being a travel advisor. Here is what she shared with us! “My love of runDisney events quickly led me down the path to become a travel advisor. After helping many friends and family on their personal trips, and suggestions from others to become a travel advisor, I reached out to Castle Explorers and was given the awesome opportunity!”

Bree specializes in helping families and groups travel to Disney properties. She is a school teacher who takes some of her community service club students to Disney once a year and has become an expert in planning group trips to Walt Disney World. If you give her a follow, she is in Walt Disney World with her community service club students this week!

You will find Bree at several of the runDisney events at Walt Disney World. But she also shared another favorite spot to travel to with us. “Being from the Midwest, but transplanted in South Carolina, I still loves traveling to Michigan and exploring the upper peninsula and my absolute favorite place: Mackinac Island!”

After a morning/ afternoon day at Universal, we headed down the road to Disney! This cutie pie and I were able to get a ton in the few hours we went to Hollywood Studios! 🎬 Caroline wanted to do all the star wars rides :)

Day 2 Wizarding World of Harry Potter! It was an epic day! The girls picked out their lanyards and robes as we explored Diagon Alley. At Olivander Wand Experience, Caroline was selected to try out wands 😍 We rode Escape from Gringotts and ate at the Leaky Cauldron. Hogwarts Express was so neat to walk through platform 9 3/4. Ellie was tall enough to ride Forbidden Journey AND we jumped on Hagrid's Motorbike right at park close! We were able to take a mid day break and come back for the Marti Gras parade!

Starting this year, Universal is set to kick off its "Butterbeer Season" festivities at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood! 🍻

Running from March 15th to April 30th, the event will introduce a fresh addition: "Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream counter" at Universal Hollywood. This permanent ice cream corner within Honeyduke's will delight visitors with Butterbeer ice cream along with a selection of nine other flavors. 🍦

I am so excited to try this out when we go the first week of April. I'll be sure to share as we sample the new flavors!
