Heartfelt thanks to all who toured with me in October, and to those who have made additional donations. A portion of all my October ticket sales and generosity of friends allowed Charms of Charleston Tours to donate a total of $900 that was split between two ministries that are in the center of the Hurricane Helene relief efforts in hard hit Swannanoa North Carolina. I was able to deliver checks to First Baptist Swannanoa , and Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministries. The work they are doing to meet current and future needs is incredible. I was able to work at First Baptist in their food pantry/clothes closet/resource center over the weekend. What a blessing! Thank you for supporting Charms of Charleston Tours, and keep your eyes open for our future efforts of continued support for this area!

Hello everyone, I hope this finds everyone well. My heart, like everyone's, has been broken for those devastated by Hurricane Helene. I have been working on ways to use my business to generate help for this region. Since I took over Charms of Charleston Tours, this has been a goal for me.
I want to use my bus not just to make a living, but to make a difference. With that in mind, I want folks to know that I am working on raffling off a private group bus tour (or 2) in the future, as well as donating from my business proceeds. A portion of every ticket will go to relief efforts.
This is personal for me because one of my best friends lived in Swannanoa NC for over 15 years serving on a church staff. So, any money raised/ donated through Charms of Charleston Tours will go to 2 places .
Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministries, and First Baptist Swannanoa. Both of these are already proven leaders in reaching out to meet community needs, even before the storm. (SVCM was voted in the top 3 of local charities to support in WNC) They are already knee deep in feeding folks and meeting immediate needs. I hope to be traveling to the region myself soon to help.
Please help me in spreading the word to your friends and family so anyone coming to Charleston can come enjoy a 5 star tour, and know they are also supporting continued relief efforts in the region. Also, keep checking in as more details on the raffle and other ideas will be coming soon...... perhaps the sale of some beautiful Charleston Photographs etc. PLEASE LIKE AND SHARE!
