As I often say in my tours, if you get the chance, go inside some of the beautiful old churches. It won't be too long now and many of the churches will be having their Spring tearooms! These are a simple but delightful treat, often accompanied by tours of beautiful sanctuaries. This photo is at Old St. Andrews Episcopal Church on Hwy.61 (also known as the Ashley River Road) This is believed to be where the tearoom tradition began.

Well, I often tell folks I can probably count on one hand how many times in my lifetime I've seen snow come and stick in Charleston. This week pushes that to two hands. More frigid temps and melted snow on roadways will likely cause black ice, and road closures for another day or two. I will let you know when the roads are safe for a return to tours. Y'all stay safe!

The Magnolia wreaths and garlands are just beautiful! I love the natural decorations that adorn so many houses this time of year!
