As the “Notebook” tour has become our most popular tour over the years, it is with a heavy heart that we learn of the death of “old” Allie, Gena Rowlands. Her son, Nick Cassevtes was the director of “The Notebook”.

Gena Rowlands, known for her roles in “A Woman Under the Influence” and "The Notebook," had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, her son has said.
