::Memory Making Monday::

It wouldn’t be proper to not mention Carnival today, AKA Mardi Gras. Carnival is celebrated in many parts of the world, including Italy, France, Germany, Russia, Brazil, Trinidad and Tobago, Poland, UK, and more!

New Orleans hosts the largest Mardi Gras in the world, which can either be downright debauchery or an actual family affair. The parade routes are long, allowing for a variety of tourists and locals to each enjoy the festival in their own right.

If the actual festival seems like too much, you should know that the festivities start weeks ahead of the actual Fat Tuesday. You can see parades, hear fantastic music, and dance in the streets long before the hordes of tourists take over.

If you’re willing to go a bit further from home, the masquerade balls in Venice, Italy are incredibly elaborate and well worth your effort!

Step out onto the world's highest observation deck with an outdoor terrace at 1,665 feet. This unique building is located in the heart of Dubai and to this day, stands as the world’s tallest building! (2,722 feet!)

Burj Khalifa was designed by the firm that designed the Sears Tower in Chicago, a previous record holder for the world's tallest building.

And yes….people have been brave enough to base jump from it’s heights!
