It all begins May 27 when Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind releases its awesome mixtape of an attraction to the world. This is another big, magical moment in the transformation of EPCOT and the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebration currently underway, which we’ve been covering here on the Disney Parks Blog. When you realize going to the 50th anniversary towards then end of the celebration was a boss move, Ratatouille, Cosmic Rewind, Connections Cafe( ), and the removal of WallCOT. So excited to do all of this with my son, who seems most excited about going to China.

For anyone who got an invite from me today or yesterday, first off thanks for taking a look. Secondly, I started a little side hustle over the last month or so and figured I would make it Facebook official. If you need any travel arrangements booked...flights, hotels, cruises, etc. get at me and I can take care of them for you. Disney Cruise Line has been quietly updating some of their health and safety guidelines onboard their ships such as dropping the reservation requirements for Kids Clubs back in March.

Today, Disney Cruise Line announced that they are updating “several health and safety measures for sailings beginning on or after April 1, 2022, originating from a U.S. port of departure.”

Physical distancing onboard the ships is being lifted and self-service buffets will resume. Port Adventures are returning to their pre-COVID procedures wherever possible as well.

Regarding face coverings, they are optional in most locations aboard the ships including inside of the Walt Disney Theater.

The Sail Away Celebration, the Pirate’s Night deck party, and up-close character interactions will continue to be paused onboard the ships for the time being.

Disney Cruise Line has stated that “protocols for sailings from Canadian and European ports may vary and will be communicated at a later time. Health and safety measures, on each ship or fleetwide, may change at any time without notice.”

NOTE: Disney Cruise Line continues to require all vaccine-eligible guests (based on U.S. eligibility requirements) to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the time of sailing, as defined by the CDC. This is a requirement for all guests (U.S. and international) ages 5 and older.
