🙏 For those in Florida that will be affected by the Hurricane! I have been following Denis Phillips for the most up-to-date information on Hurricane Milton. Both Disney and Universal are closing their theme parks.

Disney will start closing their theme parks and Disney Springs at 1P.M. October 9th, 2024. Disney Transportation will stop operating after all theme parks have closed.
Due to weather impacts, change and cancellation fees imposed by Disney will be waived for check-in dates 10/8-10/14, 2024. Most room-only and Disney vacation packages can be modified or cancelled online, without any cancellation fees. Any packages that include third party services cannot be modified or cancelled online.

How to prepare for Hurricane Season:
🌧 Make sure you are following Denis Phillips for the most accurate weather updates
☔️Especially during Hurricane Season (June-October) purchase Travel Protection
🌧 Bring plenty of Ponchos and changes of clothes
☔️Having a travel advisor that specializes in Disney, and one that understands Florida weather! If their is a Hurricane warning within 7 days of your arrival you may reschedule your Disney Vacation package. I can get on the phone with Disney and reschedule or cancel for you. That includes transportation, stroller rentals, dining reservations.
🌧 Always get the earliest flight out to Orlando (if you can). The later your flight is, the more likely it will get delayed or cancelled.

I'm working on filling up my 2025 Travel Calendar! I just booked a split stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge and Coronado Springs in January. I'm so excited! I have never stayed at Coronado Springs.

🌅At Coronado Springs you can enjoy a blend of Spanish and Mexican touches throughout the resort. This Moderate Resort is so beautiful, it will have you feeling like you are staying at a Deluxe Resort. It includes a pool that has a 50-foot replica of a Mayan pyramid where you can plunge down the Jaguar Slide. This is known as the Dig Site Pool, which is also home to the largest outdoor hot tub at Walt Disney World.🌅

My 🦓animal-obsessed🐨 kiddos are especially excited to be staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge. We will enjoy views of 4 amazing savannahs where over 200 animals habitat (including: giraffes, zebras, gazelles, flamingos, and more).
