One of our best pictures from our Alaska cruise. Despite lots of cold, rainy weather, the sun did occasionally come out to say hello.

Pro-tip: Don't do Alaska at the very beginning of the season, even though it's a little cheaper. Wait until July or August for better weather!

Had a nice chat with a wonderful client today about a river cruise in the Bordeaux region of France. If you're a fan of Cab Sauv, Merlot, Cab Franc, Malbec, and/or Petit Verdot, this is where you want to be.

Each region within Bordeaux has its own laws which dictate which types of grapes are allowed, how they can prune and pick the grapes, alcohol levels, and even the winemaking techniques.

Small group or private tours are the best way to learn about the different types of wine in this region and how they're made.. And of course, you'll want to sample a few varieties while you're here.

While we mostly do international travel, we do help clients with trips within the US as well. And since it's the 4th of July, I guess I should probably post a US destination.
