Lots going on at Fancy Roamer IV. We've just completed a renovation of the bed and bath wing of the cottage in the upper camp and there's new furniture on the porch that is SOOOO comfy! We've still got openings in the summer and are waiting for guests to enjoy our fall foliage season. Those who missed seeing the colors the last two years, now is the time to book a fall week to enjoy the camp as a jumping-off point to see the foliage and return for a relaxing evening watching a fall sunset on Lake Champlain. 2019 - We have two one-week stays available this season: July 7-14 and September 1-7. Send us a PM if you or someone you know is interested. The camp has three separate buildings giving you options for family groups meeting up on the lake or good friends wanting to "chillax" in our comfortable screen porch overlooking the lake.

We're busy getting ready for our summer season. We've fluffed the pillows, replaced some curtains, spruced up the bathrooms, cleared some brush, opened the tree framed windows to the lake view and are currently working on upgrading the kitchen in the Hobbit Hutch. Looking forward to our gathering time and welcoming our guests to their week-long stays from May to October.

May graduation season is close upon us. Have you made your plans for pre- and post-graduation gatherings? What about a week at the lake as you prepare for the big day with your son or daughter? Time to make your spring and fall plans!

We're in the dead of winter. Lately, we've experienced blizzards, gale force winds, floods, dust storms, and other weather that makes us all dream of the warm breezes of summer on the lake, watching the birds quietly swoop over the water at dusk as we await the stunning sunsets across the water so notable on Lake Champlain. Isn't that what you are dreaming of now? Our current available dates (all starting on a Sunday and minimum 7 days) are May 15 - June 22 and August 19- October 20. Take advantage of the early or late season, both wonderful times to experience Vermont at its finest.
