I enjoy meeting people from diverse backgrounds and finding common ground with them. I recently had a pedicure done by an Ethiopian woman and her face lit up when I shared my experiences in Africa. We bonded over discussions about various African and European countries. She ended up giving me a discount, but I tipped her generously to match the original price and show my appreciation.

On Saturday, our visit to an Italian restaurant led to a conversation with the owner, who is Italian. We shared stories of our time in Italy, and he became intrigued and offered us his contact information. He even invited us for a boat ride on our next trip to Italy.

For me, traveling is more than just a vacation; it's about embracing different cultures and finding solace for my mental well-being 🤍
