This year I spent almost two weeks in Japan. One of the highlights of my visit was exploring a traditional garden with my family. At the time, my crew of 4 ranged in age from 11 months to 44. We all enjoyed the serenity, beauty, and adventure the garden offered for our own reasons. For instance, the 11 month appreciated the rhythm of my walking and the quiet sounds of nature and thus had a peaceful nap.

There's nothing like these tranquil and beautiful homages to nature. My family & I are notorious for getting to the airport just before the cutoff time to check bags or with just enough time to walk briskly or run to the gate before they close the boarding door. I've even gotten to the airport 25 minutes before takeoff, gone through security and was the 2nd to the last person on the plane.

Don't try that. I only made it because my departure airport was small and it was a slow time for flying. It's an adrenaline rush I don't recommend. Here's one take on when you should arrive at the airport. FYI: 25 minutes before takeoff is not recommended.
