The Shamrock PTA supports Shamrock Gardens, a unique elementary school located in east Charlotte. Shamrock Gardens is both a neighborhood school serving the Country Club Heights, Plaza Shamrock, and Plaza Midwood neighborhoods, as well as a partial magnet school focused on gifted (LI/TD) learning. The Helping Hands PTA Committee is seeking volunteers that meet Wednesdays from 8am-12pm

🤲 This committee helps teachers and staff by taking care of tasks like: preparing copies, creating bulletin boards, and prepping learning materials.

👩🏽‍🏫👨‍🏫 This valuable group provides teachers with what they need the most, time to plan engaging and rigorous instruction for our scholars.

P3 soccer is just one of many after school activities offered at Shamrock Gardens Elementary School.

✍️Registration forms are available at shamrockpta.org/after-school-enrichment for P3 Soccer and Limelight.

🏀♟️Other activities are also listed on the website for families to begin planning. More information on these activities will be coming soon.

⚽️ SCHOLARSHIPS both full and partial are available for P3 Soccer. You can apply on the website listed above.

⏰ DEADLINE to apply for scholarships is this Friday, August 30th and winners will be announced by September 4th.

Seeking support during carpool. All volunteers meet outside the front entrance at 7:30AM to receive scholars. Several options to volunteer.

If you have any time, no matter how much or how little, please consider volunteering with the hospitality committee to support and share appreciation for the staff at Shamrock Gardens Elementary.

🥳 Previous events headed by the committee include staff appreciation days, half day lunches, and Lucky Dads.

☕️ This Friday the committee will provide staff with coffee as they head back into the building to gear up for the upcoming school year.

Register to become a volunteer with Shamrock Gardens Elementary through CMS.

🧑‍🧒‍🧒 If you want to attend school events with scholars you must register as a volunteer.

🚌 These activities are as basic as eating lunch with your scholar, helping with a school club, or chaperoning a field trip.

💌 Invite family members and close friends as well.

Did you know that you can support the PTA and your scholar can dress down at the same time? Students can purchase spirit wear to pair with uniform bottoms any day of the week.

👫 In addition to clothing for students, parents can purchase apparel and tumblers as well.

Scholars and families will be able to visit their classrooms and meet their teachers.

👩‍🏫 Teacher assignments will be presented at Lucky’s birthday tomorrow for grades 1-5 and sent in the mail to anyone who is unable to attend.

✏️ Bring your school supplies if you purchased them on your own using the school supply list.

It’s here!!!! A Gaga Ball Pit for Shamrock Gardens Elementary!!!

Fundraising proceeds from our Shamrock Shuffle Fun Run funded a brand new Gaga Ball Pit for SGE to be used by scholars during recess and P.E. We’re ready to let the good times roll! And a big shoutout 📣 to the dads who volunteered their time to get this installed! We appreciate you 🫶🏽☘️
