The Shamrock PTA supports Shamrock Gardens, a unique elementary school located in east Charlotte. Shamrock Gardens is both a neighborhood school serving the Country Club Heights, Plaza Shamrock, and Plaza Midwood neighborhoods, as well as a partial magnet school focused on gifted (LI/TD) learning. No school in observance of MLK, Jr. Day. On this day, which is celebrated on the third Monday of January each year, we celebrate the life and work of Martin Luther King Jr.
