This beautiful and local Farmington Heights home features one of our best-selling floors. Showcased on the formal staircase is domestic live-sawn white oak. For the finish, we recreated an old technique called french bleed and
the end result is a perfect canvas for this modern formal home. We worked closely with the Interior Designer , to
achieve the aesthetic that the client desired.

Live-sawn white oak undergoes a sawing process that is originally popularized in Europe. By not turning the log while cutting, the Sawyer produces wider than typical cuts of wood that maintain the unique characteristics of the lumber.

We are constantly on the hunt for unique structures to salvage. Swipe right to check out our Rack House Oak No.9 Collection, reclaimed from The Wild Turkey Bourbon Distillery. This 1940s-era rack house held approximately 18,000 barrels to aid in the aging process of bourbon. We were lucky enough to give new life to this wood with a rich American history.

Small batch crafted, Old Fashioned, and truly American-made, Our Rack House Oak No.9 is breathtakingly beautiful and available in 3 finishes: Straw, Amber Whiskey and Neat.
