🏖️ At Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, you’ll find a vibrant water-play area near the Family Beach called 💦Rush Out Gush Out💦
It features 2 slides, and we honestly like that it differs from Disney Castaway Cay (where the slides exit into the ocean). Since we have kids who have different levels of swimming experience, Bo and I are looking forward to how Rush Out Gush Out will meet them at own comfort level!
🇧🇸Today the Disney Magic visited (for the first time in forever) the newest exclusive port to Disney Cruise Line… Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point in Eleuthera, Bahamas!
We will be sharing more this weekend on this new oasis, but it’s no surprise to see all over Facebook how much the guests are loving the Disney Magic. Perhaps we are biased because it was our first Disney Cruise Line ship back in 2019, but we are huge fans of her crew, cast, and overall ambiance that started it all… with a ton of character ♥️💛🖤

Orlando, you keep calling us back. Quick weekend trip with 5 backpacks, a double stroller, and lots of grace. We’re learning who in our family likes (and doesn’t like) surprises, who needs more patience (me 🙋🏻♀️), and that we all were excited to see our driver Michelle again, especially when she tracked our flight since it came in an hour early (Southern Elegance Limousines, thank you always!). Felt like a perfect night in EPCOT—all thanks to the scuba divers, the butterfly garden, the Jardin de Fiestas outdoor kitchen, and the Cast Members at the Canada Pavilion. And biggest thanks to World Celebration Gardens. Wish we could eat at this table once a week 💜
Cítricos has been on Bo’s list for the last couple of years, and we finally made it for a fancy dinner with all 5 of us. Add in Magic Kingdom for Extended Evening Hours and *chef’s kiss*👌🏻
One suggestion: Of the two areas, I preferred the first dining room compared to the second. Even though the second dining area has a great view of the fireworks, it did not feel as cozy & special as the one nearest the open kitchen and lounge area.
From a ride reservation at Avatar - Flight of Passage in the morning to an afternoon at the pool…when you have multiple days at the parks, you feel the freedom to pivot when you need to.
Real talk: Bo & I had planned to conquer 3 parks this day, but we all needed some more rest than we realized. So we made the decision to head back to the hotel after only one ride. If we have learned anything as travel advisors and frequent travelers ourself, it is do not be afraid of changing your plans if it serves you better. A day only has so many hours in it, and in the end we want to have a GOOD day, not a day full of the fear of missing out ♥️
Highlight of the day: 3-row car at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater 📽️🍿🌙
It’s not always on our itinerary so it felt really special to plan this one. And it was another first for our youngest. Our favorite question from her: “Are the cars going to drive away? Because they said no driving.” 🥰🤣

Have you ever just played on Tom Sawyer’s Island? Right in the middle of Frontierland, you’ll find caves, bridges, and paths to explore. Bo packed us a lunch, and we had Aunt Polly’s dining area all to ourselves. And a brand new perspective on the Festival of the Fantasy parade 📸
🪝🦑 Every trip we still manage to find something new to experience. Clearly the food hanging around Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo looked more alive than expected 🫣🤣 We also tried their dessert for the first time: the chocolatey Outpost Puff!
And Star Wars Rebels tv series fans: we stumbled upon a large shipment of Hera Syndulla’s favorite snack, meilooruns 🥭💫
Say yes to Summer House On The Lake. Now open at Disney Springs, we went for the first time for a late night dinner. Such an inviting and welcoming space. Our favorite item? Hands down the Shaved Brussels Sprouts salad 🥗
Spring break & annual passes means it’s a great time for a roadtrip to Walt Disney World. If it seems like we were just here, well, we were 🥰 Not lost on us how great of a privilege it is to travel, and Bo & I have been making the most of a week away—good food, good friends, and lots of play.

Clearly I am all-in by dinner on Day 1 of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. I could not have laughed more as our unexpected dinner guest, First Order Lt. Croy, kept me bopping to the night’s performance by the famous Gaya. Working on daily reels for our time aboard the #halcyonstarcruiser—this bit just hit the cutting room floor, but cannot be forgotten 🤣💜
No big deal. Just meeting for the very first time Ouannii, the super talented Rodian musician 🤩🎹 As soon as we arrived, we ran into her in the atrium. She was remarkable. Although I didn’t speak her native language, you can see she found a way to make me feel welcomed and excited for dinner & dancing that night. And this clearly set the tone of how much fun we could have on this voyage ♥️💫
