The festival was once a regular series event and was converted to a 3 day festival with over 70 short films, a launch party with a live performance by Maestro the Cellist playing the best in Pop, R&B, and more, and a female dj, DJ Maiya, FREE panel discussions, FREE table reads, and the Sunday Brunch Awards at the Bradbury. The festival will use five venues, all located downtown Charlottesville - Violet Crown, Vinegar Hill Theatre, Common House, Vault Virginia, and the Bradbury.

The Fralin Museum of Art at the University of Virginia proudly presents ‘Madayin: Eight Decades of Aboriginal Australian Bark Painting from Yirrkala,’ a profound exhibition featuring over 50 rare masterpieces on eucalyptus bark. Located offsite at the Rotunda, “WAŊUPINI: Clouds of Remembrance and Return” showcases the works of Yolŋu artists Nawurapu Wunuŋmurra and daughter, Bulthirrirri Wunuŋmurra.
