Does anyone have group space at the Sunscape Puerto Vallarta Resort and Spa November 28-December 5 or just November 28-December 1? I have a client who is in a wedding there but the resort is sold out. She didn’t book in time with whomever the bride used to secure their rooms.

Does anyone have clients sailing on the Viking Vela in the next few weeks? If so, have you received any updates from Viking? Wondering if cruises scheduled in the next few weeks will actually set sail.: Update: Viking Vela has now left Ålesund on the way to Eidfjord in Norway (Map: MarineTraffic). A Viking spokesperson said: ‘We can confirm that the ship has departed Ålesund and is currently sailing toward her next planned port of call, Eidfjord.'

The new Viking Vela was forced to change course from Narvik to Ålesund after passengers reported the ship was rocked by 100mph winds and 35ft seas off the coast of Norway. A Viking spokesperson confirmed: ‘The weather conditions were worse than forecast.’

I am really disappointed to see that Royal Caribbean changed the Symphony of the Seas' entire itinerary for December 29th and just notified clients and me today. Instead of cruising the Eastern Caribbean, it is sailing the Western Caribbean because "Due to ongoing construction at the pier in San Juan, the port authority has advised us that the port will not be ready in time for our visit." Funny that I have other clients cruising on NCL out of the Port of San Juan in two days. No changes, no compensation. 100% penalty if they cancel. Not cool.
