First time on the water chasing cats in a lil bit. My buddy E "dirty" came out to help me knock the dust off. The morning started quite brisk, good thing Eric was dressed like a Russian snow trooper. Bite was hot! We fished just 4hrs and boated 10, missed a few and had what may have been a good one hang us in some structure, 2 in 20's and big fish in the 30's!

I'm back at it y'all ready to fish hard. Early Spring is shaping up nice and there's gonna be some banner days to be had for sure. If you wanna have a chance at some Trophy Catfish action do not hesitate reach out!

Happy New Years everybody. As I do every year I like to look back on my log and crunch some numbers. This isn't to brag or to boast as this is all y'all....I didn't reel these fish in & everyone that follows this page and comes out to fish on the boat with me is what makes it all possible. I am very much looking forward to what 2025 holds as we turn a new page on the calendar tonight at midnight.

In 2024 I had 176 trips recorded in my log book. Numbers are as follows with our big fish right at 87lb!

Personal Best caught: 192
30lb class fish caught: 201
40lb class fish caught: 66
50lb class fish caught: 30
60lb+ class fish caught: 15

I'm getting ready to get back to some real work for a couple weeks as to cure my ramblin' fever. Trips have been coming in for the Spring and it's shaping up to be a good one. If y'all wanna get on the books for Feb- May better gimme a hollar! Happy new year everyone and I will be back to chasin' these Trophy Cats real soon!

Good morning Face Book.I just wanted to share an update as I'm taking a small break from the water. It won't be long until I'm back at chasing these Trophy Cats in January. Currently I will be out with my previous employer drafting some of the finest 2D CAD as builts from Coast 2 Coast. I have my booking calander with me & 2025 Feb- April is looking fruitful. See yall soon, I will be out here looking to see whats around the next bend!

Good times yesterday with Allison, caught some bream & soaked them for a little bit before hitting River Drifters for some awesome grub!

Chuck from Kansas is passing through to visit family in NC and decided to swing by Chattanooga to chase some Tennessee River bluecat. The wind picked up mid morning and Chuck thought he was back in Kansas for a minute. The bite wasn't hot but we managed 6 fish with 2 bigguns and an 18lb blue that we didn't get a picture of, good times!

If you've been following my page you might know Bubba is a Marine Corp Vietnam combat vet. Although, what many don't know he is also retired from the post office. Well in true mail man form he didn't let the wind nor rain stop him from delivering the hammer on those Trophy Blue Cat's today! The storm might of robbed us from the sunrise, but the Tennessee River Blue's brought us plenty of joy! 17 fish, many trophies with a 56lb big fish.

Bubba Fawcett is back in town all the way from the Salt Lake City and he's ready to chase some Tennessee catfish! We set out early this morning in a dense chilly fog that covered up the lake. I haven't been in about a week other than bassin' with Josh and then out to catch bait Friday morning. It took us a couple set ups to find an area to get some good bites but we got on them with 12 bluecat's overall with some good quality ones in the mix!

Was a beautiful brisk Fall morning on the Tennessee River today. I had out all the way from the West Coast Steven visiting his uncle E "dirty" Hodges. His dad Steve joined us as well as he is relocating to GA for his career. Was cold front conditions this morning and we managed to get some quality bites, we even rescued a good one from a tree!

I just want to express my gratitude for all of my guest that decide to come back year after year to fish on the boat with me. Today I had Duane Williams up from Houston Texas for day 1 of 2 & today was his 50th birthday. Well he got an awesome gift with a new personal best catfish that just barely got him in the 60lb class! Couple days ago I had repeat guest Shane and Michelle up on the lake for an evening trip. We battled a tough bite and got on a few and definitely had a good time.

I had the opportunity to get an awesome couple Gene and Kim up from South Alabama to chase some Tennessee catfish. We got after it and worked our way up to 7 fish on a tough bite, couple disrespectful fish doubling the hook back into the bait & a true heart break fish pulling off in the final 10 minutes!

Had a fun trip today with Brandon , Woody Hullender along with his side kick Darryl Morris. Darryl had reached out about wanting to get out and target some fish dragging baits and that's just what we did. Was a dreary misty East Tennessee morning but the fish sure didn't seem to mind as they were in a pretty good mood. We put 13 in the boat with 2 in the 40's along with some other quality fish as well. Lot's of laughs with this group, was a fun morning!

Some pics from last couple trips. Tried the river one evening then the lake the next, bite's been a bit on the tough side of things. Had 2 drag peelers come off last night, that's how she goes some times. We are getting after it!

I had the pleasure of having repeat guest Tommy along with his lady Melissa up from the Piedmont of S. Carolina. Tommy came back in August with his buddies Cass & James and I believe caught 8 personal best over the weekend between my and Cass's boat. Things were a bit tougher on the lake today as we caught 8 fish with 3 in the 20's and big fish going 34lb. Recreation traffic was reminiscent of summer until an afternoon monsoon pushed most of the boats back to the dock.
