It’s Tea Time ! Mother’s Day is right around the corner , come spend some meaningful quality time with Mom , in a pristine setting in nature. We will start by taking a stroll and learning about medicinal plants. Followed by tincture making , while I go over the entire process. Trail Runs and Camp Weekend! Northwest Georgia and Chattanooga

April 22-23 - Meet up and guided trail rides for all levels at 5313 OHV Park in Calhoun, GA. Then anyone interested will ride up to Running Water Creek Campground in Chattanooga, TN. On Sunday morning, we will get up and hit a trail before parting ways.
Please complete the sign-up sheet on www.stormpeacock.com if you are interested in joining this event so that we can get a good idea of comfort levels for trail rides and coordinate for a number of people.
*5313 day pass is $15.00 and they only accept cash or Venmo
*Running Water Creek Camp fee is $25.00 on hipcamp.com
We will plan to have rides of different difficulty levels to make sure that you only hit what you are comfortable with!

On this weeks episode of off grid engineering, let’s talk about water. Did you know water has .433 pounds per square inch of every foot it drops, So to push water up hill 140ft, it must have approximately 60 psi of pump power behind it, to counter the head pressure from gravity.

So why are these numbers revelenat? Well, our well, literally. Our water system come from a well 167 foot in the ground, from our solar well to a holding tank in the ground. From that tank, it’s pipes through a pump to a 1600 gallon holding tank that is 140ish feet above our bath house.

This weekend our transfer pump went out and we have been tracking down a replacement/upgraded version, after a lot of offgrid engineering quick math, We have found a suitable replacement, and have the ability to expand further up the mountain when the time comes!

Soon, we can pump 230 ft up the mountain
