My prayers are with all those in path of Milton and the surrounding areas that will be affected by this powerful storm.
I am also praying for all of the Lineman and first responders who will be putting their lives on the line during & after this storm.

🚨Hurricane Milton is on its way.
If you’re heading to Disney World this week, from October 8th-10th, be prepared for heavy rains, strong winds, and possible flooding. Be on the lookout for updates from the My Disney Experience app or the Disney World website in case closures are announced.

⛈️ Disney seems to have blocked out park reservations for October 9th. All other dates are currently available to book. This does not mean the parks will be closed that day, but Disney is putting precautions into place in case they need to do so.

🏨 No resort rooms are currently available to book in Disney World on October 8th & 9th. This could be because Disney is preparing to house Hurricane ride-out crews and guests who need to extend their stay due to the storm.

✈️ Flight plans could very possibly be disrupted this week. Follow Orlando International Airport on Facebook & X for the latest updates on flight operations.

Your MyDisneyExperience app does more than just show you wait times in the parks!

🐭 Find your favorite characters & see what times they’re meeting that day!

💧Staying hydrated is crucial! So if you need to refill your water bottle simply search “water bottle refill stations” under the 🔍 and you’ll be able to see them on the map! They’re adding more spots all the time!

📱Use the MDE app to mobile order your food at quick service locations ahead of time! You can even preorder your lunch in the mornings before you even get to the park - just choose your pickup time! You stand in line for rides all day. No sense standing in line for food too!

🚌 If you’re staying on property there is a section under your resort information that will show you when the next bus is coming for each park - I have found these are typically pretty accurate!

The MyDisneyExperience app is your lifeline in the parks. It does all of these things and more!
Get familiar with it BEFORE your trip. Download it and toggle through each menu & take a look around.

 The “D” family is heading to WDW this fall & staying at All Star Sports resort in a preferred room!

The All-Star resorts are the most affordable on-property options, but in my opinion that doesn’t mean you are getting a bottom of the barrel room.
They all three have nearly identical layouts, just different theming! As an onsite resort guest you have access to free Disney transportation & early park entry.

Sometimes the BEST character dining at Walt Disney World is simply just Cast Members fully embracing their roles as your “cousins” like at 50’s Prime Time Cafe.
