We are going ahead and scheduling some trips for this Fall! This weekend we have our Hiwassee Rafting trip/Outdoor Church Aug 14. This is a leisurely time out in God's creation, no rafting skills required. No charge of course! To attend you must be a current SAU student taking 6 hours of undergraduate credit in the Fall or current smart start student. To reserve a spot please email [email protected]

Our Story

SOAP is Southern Adventist University’s outdoor adventure program. SOAP takes students on unique and exciting trips to beautiful places near SAU’s campus. It provides students the opportunity to try and experience new activities. SOAP offers trips that involve rock climbing, whitewater rafting, canoeing, caving, hiking, and more! SOAP provides the gear, transportation, and experienced leaders to help students have a fun and safe time. SOAP’s goal is to help students experience the outdoors in a fun Christ-focused way.
