The Cheetah Pattern Redfish is seldom seen with spots near the gill plate on a fish of this age. As redfish mature, they lose additional spots, often leaving only one area. Today, my client caught and released one near Dulac. 25lb

Big girl today with 3 generations of Magee on the skiff @ 31 pounds. Nice start but got hot fast. We’ll be taking off next week due to the heat man it’s blazing out there.

We had 10 guys from National of Shreveport come down to Cocodrie for some trout and Bull Redfish action. Captain Chase took care of the trout with 100 in the box. Captain Chase worked hard in the west wind was a great job. As u can see we had it easy again catching some nice Bulls and working with a great crew of guys. Beautiful sunrise this morning wow great day.

We had great day fishing plenty of energy even changed out the PP for my new Minn Kota Raptor. See that steel pipe in the photo? That’s been make anchor on 4 trips while waiting on my new one. Jeeez happy day !!!
