We adore the spaciousness of this home. Rather than filling every nook with bunks and beds, we prioritized comfortable sleep for adults and the option to have a room to themselves.

In this room, there is a queen bed on the upper level. If stairs are a concern, fret not because we have a master bedroom with a king bed on the main level just for you!

We are beyond excited for this update to our rural area! Before we’ve been limited to satellite internet which was limited to checking your email. At best maybe get directions. We are SO EXCITED to announce will be upgraded to unlimited data fiber internet! This will be completed THIS WEEK! So now you can escape AND work if necessary.

With our views, beach, and location I know you and your kiddos will still prefer being lakeside sipping on your favorite 🍹. But now if you need to jump on a zoom call, you can slowly drag your away from the beautiful views and calmness to handle business without worry of if you can get WIFI connection. Or maybe you won’t and make your coworkers jealous of your majestic Great Lake views!

Our calendar is almost full, so now is the time to escape! Work isn’t so bad when you can be lakeside!

Did you know…Tahquamenon Falls is an easy day trip distance from ? With just over an hour drive you can escape for the day to explore the easy to access Tahquamenon Falls, and even go check out the Soo Locks or Whitefish Point Lighthouse all in one day!

I love to have a day trip planned when coming up for a long weekend in case we decide to get out and explore some of the larger sites. My favorite time to visit the Falls is in the winter, no bugs, very few people and lots of fresh air!

SUMMER CALENDAR UPDATE!

We are filling up for our summer 2024 season, but still have a few weeks left!

We are thrilled to see families returning year after year and excited for all our new families and friends gathering at Island View Shores for the first time! We know you are going to LOVE it here!

For those who are unsure if this home is a good fit for your group let me help answer some questions!

Our home has 5 bedrooms. For us adults who do not want to sleep in a twin, don't worry! We have 1 King bed (main level) and 3 queen beds upstairs. Our home is just ONE home on the property, not multiple cabins. So enjoy the outdoor space, beach, and views of the Mackinac Bridge!

What about group size? Our home is large enough to handle multiple families at an affordable rate, but also for just two people! Enjoy the walks on the beach at sunrise and sunset everyday!

What about location? Well the good news is we are only 10 minutes away from Mackinaw City and Cheboygan. Looking to explore the UP? Don't worry this home is great for day trips to the Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point Lighthouse and more! More than likely you'll fall into a chair down by the beach and just stay there the entire week. But if you are an explorer by all means, it's a great place to have as your home base!
