Lake Chelan tourism is taking a hit due to the nearby wildfires.

Good Morning Everyone,

As many of you know the Pioneer Fire has placed Stehekin on a level 2 evacuation notice. This means unfortunately that we will not be taking tourists or overnight guests into Stehekin. We will, however, still be bringing groceries, freight, mail etc. until there is a reason not to. We will continue to serve the Port of Lucerne and Holden Village. As many of you know this has a huge impact on many of our friends and fellow businesses in Stehekin, the Ranch, the Bakery, the Lodge, the Garden, Stehekin Reservations, and Discovery Bikes are just a few. Both the Stehekin Ferry and ourselves, the Lake Chelan Boat Company will suffer in ways we have not seen since COVID and perhaps worse depending on how things go.

Wondering what you can do to help folks out:

1: Accept a gift card instead of taking a refund on booked reservations

2: Move your reservations to next year but do not cancel.

3: Buy family members gift cards for use at a later date to support folks

4: Decide you don't want a refund and help these businesses attempt to survive.

As always we are focused on looking ahead and not back and we look forward to serving you all again, hopefully really soon 🙂.
