After graduating from the Emil Fries School of Piano Technology in 2012, Mac Potts founded Black & White Piano Tuning. Born blind and with perfect pitch, Mac began playing the piano professionally at a young age and tuning his family's piano at an even younger age. 5-years later, Mac has serviced hundreds of pianos for professional stages, fine establishments, music teachers, families, and churche

s across the Northwest and beyond. Mac offers Student and Non-Profit Organization Discounts and additional services on top of his standard quality tuning. For extensive work, repairs, or detailing, Mac can contract out work to his professional business partners (for local jobs only) with no additional fees. Mac will also work as your consultant if you are in the market for a used piano. In addition to maintaining a vast inventory of refurbished pianos, Mac will also "ride-along" with you to inspect pianos you are interested in before you make your purchase (or before you find a "free" piano and pay for the delivery of an instrument needing hundreds of dollars in repairs!!).
