HOUSEKEEPER WANTED for 2BR, 2 bathroom log cabin in Blue Ridge, GA. The place has 2 beds, 2 toilets, 2 showers and 1 bathtub. Cabin is currently under renovation, but will be done by October 22, so your first clean would probably be anytime between October 17-21. After that, there’s usually 1-2 stays per week, so you’d clean 1-2x a week. $125 per clean.

Must be OCD-level, anal-retentive clean. Must be local, consistent, thorough, responsible, energetic/hard-working and easy to get along with. Must be able to climb up and down stairs without issue. Must be somewhat tech-savvy, by that, I mean familiar with how to use phone apps and text messages. Must have Zelle, Venmo or Cash App (not necessarily all 3, but at least 1 of the 3). Must download the app called Turnify, if you don’t have it already.

No experience required.

Duties are as follows:

DECK
-Check the deck for any dishes, cups, food or anything else that may have been left out and bring them in
-Check and clean BBQ grill (if dirty)
-Cover fire pit (if left uncovered)
-Check propane tanks in fire pit and heat lamp. If empty, replace with extra ones in brown chest on deck.
-If necessary, spray down deck, outdoor furniture & hot tub exterior with water.

HOT TUB
-Clean/soak/spray down hot tub filter and put it back in
-Scoop out any particles or debri you see in hot tub with net and/or wet vac.
-Scrub/wipe down any dirt or scum you see on the surface of hot tub.
If necessary, drain or partially drain & refill hot tub (super-drainer can be found in nearby brown chest, takes 45 minutes to fully drain).
-Treat hot tub with chemicals, use test strips to see if water is at ideal level. (Hot tub chemicals and test strips can all be found in nearby brown chest). Turn on whirlpool bath buttons to give the chemicals a good mix.
-Cover hot tub when done

KITCHEN & LIVING ROOM
-Vacuum floors and rug
-Check floor, rug and furniture for any stains and wipe up any stain or spills on the floor. Try to clean all stains on carpet/couch.
-Dust blinds and clean bugs, dust and dirt off windowsill and blinds
-Wipe & dust windows
-Dust TV
-Check the big pail next to the TV to see how much firewood is in it. If full, leave it, but if more can fit, add more until full.
-Wipe up kitchen counter, including soap scum around sink
-Clean kitchen sink, including the metal knobs/faucet
-Wipe down stove, oven and microwave
-Wipe down fridge inside and out, throw away any food they’ve left down the garbage disposal
-Refill ice trays (Bear-shaped)
-Clean and refill Keurig
-Restock the K-cups in tin pail next to it if running low
-Do dishes and put them in the dishwasher/empty dishwasher
-Wipe down dining table/benches
-Put wine into drinking bear

BATHROOMS
-Vacuum or sweep floors
-Dust blinds and clean bugs, dust and dirt off windowsill and blinds
-Wipe & dust windows
-Clean and spray down showers and tub thoroughly (including hairs) inside and out.
-Run the water in all bathroom sinks, tub and shower to check for any clogging. If so, use Drano or something else to unclog.
-Thoroughly clean toilets, inside and out
-Clean bathroom sink, knobs/faucet and surrounding counters, inside and out
-Clean bathroom mirrors
-Put toiletries out (assume 1 bar of soap and 2 sets of shampoo/conditioner/body wash/lotion per bathroom, unless I specify otherwise)
-Put fresh towels out and wash the used ones

BEDROOMS
-Wash and/or change sheets and make the beds. For downstairs room, make sure to tuck cover under mattress.
-Vacuum floors
-Wipe & dust down all dressers, nightstands and lamps
-Wipe & dust windows
-Wipe & dust upstairs TV
-Dust blinds and clean bugs, dust and dirt off windowsill and blinds

TRASH
-Take out trash into Bear-proof bins.
-Wipe down indoor trash cans and replace with new bags.

MISC.
-Look around, see if anything looks out of place/should be stored or thrown away, like empty plastic bags, wrappers, etc. and do as needed.
-Do an inventory count for dishes, glasses and mugs, let me know if any are missing.
-Do an inventory count for sheets - should be 2 sets of red flannel, 2 sets of regular red, 2 red cover (1 heavy, 1 light), 2 sets of green flannel, 2 sets of regular green, 2 green covers (1 heavy, 1 light).
-Take photos and call/text me when finished so I can look.

If you’ve done it before and know what I’m talking about, message me and we’ll talk and you can name your price. If you don’t know anything about this type of counter or have never done it before, this isn’t the job for you.

Must have past photos of this specific type of work you’ve done.

Job is to be done in January.

If I like what I see on the counters, there’s a ton of other work I also need done and I’ll have you do.

But firs things first: COUNTERS.

Also might want a farm sink installed with the new counters.

Housekeeper wanted for rental cabin in Blue Ridge, GA. Approximately 1000 sqft. $125/clean, usually 2x a week (so, about $250/week, $13,000/year), usually on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Duties are standard:
◦ Vacuum floors and rug
◦ Mop any stains or spills on the floor. Remove any spills/stains carpet/couch, especially new ones.
◦ Wipe up kitchen counter, including soap scum around sink
◦ Do dishes and put them in cabinets/empty dishwasher
◦ Refill ice trays in freezer
◦ Wipe down fridge inside and out, throw out old food.
◦ Wipe down stove and microwave
◦ Clean and refill Keurig
◦ Clean out showers and tubs thoroughly (including hairs) inside and out
◦ Thoroughly clean toilets, inside and out
◦ Clean bathroom sink and surrounding counters, inside and out
◦ Clean bathroom mirrors
◦ Put toiletries out
◦ Put fresh towels out
◦ Dust/clean bugs off windowsill and blinds
◦ Wash and change sheets
◦ Dust any anything that needs dusting (dressers, lamps, TV, etc)
◦ Treat hot tub (if you don’t know how, I can show you, it’s easy)
◦ Put wine into drinking bear
◦ Take out trash
◦ Wipe down trash can
◦ Take photos and call me when finished so I can look.

Experience preferred, but willing to give you a 1x trial run and hire and pay you if you show me what you can do and I like it.

Must be detail-oriented, observant and anal-retentive clean. Must have camera phone. Must be local, have a car and available to clean right before big holidays, as well as Mondays and Wednesdays.

Must either speak English or have someone readily available to translate for you.
