Because it is a smaller cabin, Cherry Log Hideaway is a great rental for a couples’ weekend or for a small family vacation. The 2BR, 2 Bath layout makes it the perfect destination for 2 couples or a family with one or two kids. When compared to larger cabins with 3+ bedrooms, you can save a significant amount of money on your vacation by renting our smaller cabin. The master bedroom is equipped with a King size bed and a comfy swinging chair where you can curl up with a good book or a cup of coffee in the morning. The stylish barn-style door opens into a modern bathroom. Watch a movie on the TV or just enjoy the peace and quiet. The second bedroom has its own Queen size bed, bathroom, and TV. The cabin sleeps 4 so you can have a double date or bring the kids for a nice family getaway. Downstairs, you’ll find the lovely modern kitchen with electric range and stove, plus a refrigerator with icemaker. The open floorplan leads to the living room with vaulted ceilings. You will feel extra cozy in here when you build a fire in the wood burning fireplace while you watch a movie or play a record on the retro Victrola record player. The leather couch and modern rustic furniture give the room a warm appearance. You can also enjoy a nice meal at the dining table with seating for 6. Located in Cherry Log, close to Ellijay and downtown Blue Ridge, your stay at Cherry Log Hideaway will give you plenty of opportunities to see the local sights. This cabin is just minutes from the Swan Drive-In, a local institution and one of the few drive-in theaters left in the country. You’ll also be a short distance away from Bear Claw Vineyards & Winery. Antiquers will love the Ellijay area, which is home to countless antique shops and local craft stores. Please note that while 4-wheel drive (4WD) or All-wheel-drive (AWD) is not required to access the cabin, it is highly recommended. Front-wheel drive vehicles and smaller vehicles without much ground clearance may have difficulty getting up the driveway and can potentially get stuck. If you do not have access to an AWD or 4WD vehicle, we recommend that you take a Rear-wheel drive vehicle with good ground clearance like a truck or SUV. For your safety, we have installed a Ring doorbell camera on the premises. Please be aware that you may be recorded on camera if you are in the Ring doorbell’s field of view.
