North East River Cruises

Located in one of the most scenic areas at the head of the Chesapeake Bay, North East River Cruises offers public and private cruises April-October.

Our custom-built boat is U.S. Coast Guard inspected to carry up to 15 passengers with a licensed Captain and Mate, is perfect for intimate events.

The “Wellwood” is equipped with a full Tiki Bar serving delicious tropical-inspired beverages and a restroom onboard. Bring your own food or let the Wellwood Restaurant provide delicious options.

Whether you’re planning a corporate outing, wedding festivities or a party with friends, hosting an event on the water is a perfect setting for a memorable occasion! We depart from the North East Community Park Pier!

Meet our Crew: Captain Tim! 🛥

Tim is our fleet Captain — He oversees our vessel operations and has years of experience in the passenger vessel industry. You may have seen him on the Spirit of Philadelphia in years past in the all white captains uniform! Captain Tim’s favorite part of the job is meeting new people and providing a fun and safe experience for people to enjoy.
