We started with a classic Kir Royal, followed by an incredible menu featuring slow-braised beef ravioli, sesame-crusted teriyaki tuna, and a decadent white chocolate-matcha mousse to finish. Each course was beautifully paired with wines, and our sommelier Komang took such great care of us throughout the experience.

From the breathtaking Golden Pavilion to a 600-year-old bonsai, every corner of this historic city tells a story. The tea room (once reserved only for men, who had to leave their swords outside) offers a glimpse into the past, while the bamboo forest and serene gardens create a peaceful retreat. 🌿

Clients often ask me why I always recommend Signature Preferred Hotels and, very often, Leading Hotels of the World. Of course it is service, location, amenities but most important it is quality. We are in Tokyo at the Palace Hotel. The concierge had arranged a full day Mt Fuji tour. The weather has been terrible - cold, rainy, snowy etc. I canceled the tour and knew it was non-refundable. Received a note from the Chief Concierge - in light of the weather and circumstances, we are pleased to refund your tour and your train tickets.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of meeting our dear Japanese friends, Midori and Jun, for a delightful lunch filled with great conversation and wonderful company. Afterward, we took a leisurely stroll through the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, admiring the beautifully manicured landscapes, historic ruins, and tranquil atmosphere in the heart of Tokyo. 🌸It’s always a joy to reconnect with friends in such a special setting!
