The primary bath has seen a couple iterations since the home was built in 1981. Interestingly enough, the windows and skylights for the wet room feel like it was always meant to be this space.

This home had us at hello but there were some shockingly ODD things about it. Namely, the incredibly oversized primary suite. From the original footprint, we carved out 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a walk in closet -- all generously sized! My favorite NYE yet. Surprised the kids with a party that included home made cheeseball, and watched Big Ben ring in the New Year in London at all of 7pm eastern. After that, we turned on some other celebrations from around the world that had already taken place and it was SO. MUCH. FUN. Will definitely be making this a yearly tradition.🥳

Brandon didn't believe me when I told him the lounge seating I found was the same color as his grandmother's 1970's furniture. I pointed it out when we visited her house for Thanksgiving and sat on a Dijon colored loveseat. Only difference was her set was covered in clear, thick plastic his entire childhood 😂. Still looks new though!

The kids think that Daddy Bird is golfing every time we go to this playground, overlooking the beautiful 9 hole course 🏌🏾‍♂️and just two blocks from The Nest.

This summer we were gifted some lovely tomatoes straight from a neighbor’s garden, and some of our guests were treated to some as well! 🍅 They roasted theirs on the grill, and ours were sliced for a beautiful caprese salad. A few weeks still available for Summer '22 ... maybe you too will get a sweet garden treat.

Baby birdie 1 & 2 have been working SO hard during fall and winter swim lessons. Louis has transformed to not wanting to get water on his face to a kicking, splashing, jumping in the pool machine. Taking bets on who will be water safe first - Mermaid Marlowe with the perfect back float or adventure fueled Louis? 👙💦

You can see this boardwalk trail through the trees behind It's the start of the Eastern Lake Trail system in Point Washington State Forest. With little kids - getting out of the door is 90% of the struggle, amiright? Our location makes it easy to get out and explore nature 🍃

Bucket list activity alert - rent a kayak and explore a coastal dune lake -- a rare geographical phenomenon found in only four places in the world, including along 30A (the others being New Zealand, Madagascar and Oregon in the U.S.). These lakes are formed behind a sandy dune and empty into the Gulf of Mexico. Grayton Beach is one of 15 spots in the area where you can enjoy this natural beauty and happens to be our favorite nature beach.

Our kids call this the white sand beach 🏖. Oddly, it doesn't get hot. I remember running across the sand as a little kid to avoid my feet being burned, but you don't have to worry about that here.

These original wood windows had us at hello. But also, Louis recently discovered the joy of putting his blankie in the freezer. It must be genetic as I used to do the same thing.
