Throw Back Thursday. Just one year ago, I had one of the most amazing shoots of my career. The Suri (Surma) of Southwest Ethiopia opened their arms to me and my guide for two hours. Photos were just one small part of the experience. Meeting, laughing, dancing and singing were the highlights.

Headed home after another successful trip. Crossed the Antarctic Circle and witnessed some amazing things. Thanks to my fellow Polar Latitudes Expedition Team Members and the crew of the Hebridean Sky for all.

Currently it's about 1:11AM on the Hebridean Sky. The seas are beginning to roll as we exit the Beagle Channel between Argentina and Chile and round Cape Horn our way south to Antarctica. Good night from the Drake Passage in the far South Atlantic Ocean.
