Art Depth was founded in 2010 by artist and creative visionary Cheryl Postrozny. Art Depth offers art exhibition and gallery consulting, artist representation, curatorial leadership and art education planning. Promoting individual artists, organizations and select businesses as well as serving to increase awareness about current pressing issues and varying topics is what Art Depth achieves through

its specialty event production philosophy. Each experience is one-of-a-kind, but all projects, events and exhibitions share the ultimate goal of inspiration, connection and creation among guests while at the same time being interactive and evolutionary from start to finish. This Friday, August 17th from 7-10pm, stop by the Zhou B Art Center for CENTERLINE, which will showcase select works from resident artists within the building's five floors. It is also Third Friday which means all studios will be open, giving you the opportunity to step inside, view works in progress, see additional works on display, as well as meet the artists. Art Depth is located on the fourth floor in Studio 407, which is occupied by Art Depth founder Cheryl Postrozny, artist Yva Neal and Mako James. If visiting the center, come say hello and find out how you can get involved in future events - whether at the center and/or with Art Depth!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 14th as we look forward to Jyl Bonaguro’s solo show, LIFTED, at Gallery 4200. Entry is free but RSVP is required. This is one evening you won’t want to miss. It was a honor to meet Jyl at our Goddess show back in 2013 and since then she has been a huge inspiration as well as being a featured artist. She not only is an established fine artist and one of the few women working exclusively in marble, but she is also an accomplished playwright as well as the mastermind behind the sought after eco friendly skin care and makeup line, Calm. Video footage from this year's event, "SUSTAINABLE VOWS", which took place August 2nd at City Farm Chicago (Division and Clybourn). As many of you know, the theme and production of Art Depth changes with each year, but what remains the same is our desire to inspire, connect and create through unique experiences that bring artists of all disciplines together. Creating something larger by connecting innovators and creators is what it's all about. Efforts of 2014 were aimed at increasing awareness about Sustainability and Urban Farming in Chicago, with snippets from the Aug 2nd event included in this video. This event included featured artists creating live, farm tours, sustainable art making for all ages, a live model wearing upcycled clothes by Brigid KO, food and DIY workshops put on by Resource Center, live music and much more.
