Meet Melissa Tucker, our Experience Designer. 💚🐢

Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, Melissa submerged herself into the hospitality and event planning by starting her career in industry related part time jobs. Melissa graduated from University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, minor in public relation and a media sales certificate. Melissa had become a student member through MPI CAC and landed a job with PRA in 2022, starting her career in the DMC industry. She loves being an experience designer as she gets to design events but also gets to see all the details that go into an event before, after and on site. Melissa feels inspired by the learning opportunities that comes upon every event and continues to want to grow to excel herself for future obstacles. Melissa spends her off time with family, friends and in nature. She loves traveling, working out, crafts, John Mayer, cooking and reading.

Fun Fact: her go to Starbucks order is a medium drip coffee with vanilla syrup and oat milk.

Meet Heather Brown, CMP, DMCP, our Regional Vice President of the Midwest and Southeast. 🪻💜

Born and raised in Galena, IL, a beautiful and historic town three hours west of Chicago, Heather grew up surrounded by tourism. Her first job in the hospitality industry was bussing tables at age 14 at Joe’s Hamburger Heaven! When she moved to Chicago in 1999, she worked in several sectors of the industry, but her role as Director of Catering at Soldier Field was an especially unique and special experience for her. Heather has been with PRA for almost 11 years and can’t imagine doing anything else. Being involved on the Board of Directors of MPI-CAC and as the RVP of the Midwest and Southeast, she is inspired by having the opportunity to coach and mentor the next generation of event professionals. She loves spreading her passion for this industry.

In her role as RVP, she loves the people she works with and says, “Our Chicago, Orlando, and South Florida teams are true experts at what they do and are just amazing human beings. To be surrounded by this kind of talent and collaboration every day is a dream.”

Outside of work, you can find Heather traveling, reading, cooking, exploring new restaurants, and just soaking up as much time as possible with her amazing husband and all the people she loves.

Fun Fact: Heather has 9 nieces and nephews, 5 of whom are her godchildren. Being a good auntie and godmother to all these babies she loves so much is one of the biggest joys of her life. 😇

Meet Xan Guzik, our Associate Director of Events💜

Born and raised in Minneapolis, Xan moved to Chicago in 1999. She started her hospitality career as a backstage “runner” at concerts in Minneapolis. After this memorable experience, she pursued a career in events as she liked the behind-the-scenes aspect of the industry. Xan went on to work for event production companies, later joining the DMC industry in 2021 with PRA. Seeing an event finally come together and knowing that she played a part in the success of executing the client’s vision inspires Xan as an event producer. In her free time, she walks her dog, Hazel, travels, reads and watches home improvement shows.

Fun Fact: Xan took a brief career detour into the travel industry and was able to go to Fiji, Australia, and South Africa during that time. 🛩️🌏

Meet April Pranske, our Associate Director of Sales. 💗🌸

Born and raised in Calumet City, April went to Indiana University majoring in Tourism. Her first hospitality jobs were with Walt Disney World and Hyatt before transitioning to a DMC in 2015. April started her PRA journey in the Orlando office and transferred to Chicago in 2022 as a regional sales manager. April loves being a sales manager as she likes dreaming up the latest and greatest ways for clients to impress their teams. She loves seeing clients enjoying themselves at events that we plan. Outside of work, April loves to go to concerts, breweries, baseball games and take yoga classes. She loves the color pink and of course everything Taylor Swift!

Fun Fact: She LOVES Chicago, but hates the cold.

Her Starbucks drink of choice is a pumpkin cold brew 🎃

Meet Alli Shebek our Regional Director of Experience Design. 🩵

Alli moved to Chicago in 2019 relocating from Scottsdale, Arizona. Alli started her DMC journey as an Experience Design intern with PRA Arizona in 2014, and has remained with the organization ever since! Alli’s passion for her role as an experience designer stems from getting the opportunity to create new event experiences everyday and being an expert in the city. She values that each day in this job is a new learning opportunity. Alli spends her off time with friends, biking, and with her dog Roo. She loves reading, cooking, dive bars, and Wrigley Field! Go Cubs Go!

Fun Fact: Alli has been skydiving over the Grand Canyon!!!

Meet Silvana Marzullo, our Event Producer. 🧡🎃
Born and raised in Chicago, Silvana began her journey into the hospitality and event planning industry in 2009, working at the airport and various events as a field staff. She joined the PRA Chicago operations team in 2022. She loves being onsite, connecting with people face to face, and making things happen in the moment. After years in the field, Silvana has hands-on experience with transportation and events of all kinds. In her free time, she enjoys bike rides, traveling, painting, dancing, gardening and nature walks. Her greatest joy is sharing these activities with her kids and going on adventures with her family and friends.

Born and raised in Cleveland, Stephanie immersed herself into the hospitality and event planning industry in 2008 on the food and beverage side. Stephanie joined the PRA Chicago sales team in 2021. In 2013, she moved to Chicago and has fulfilled her dream of living in the Windy City. Stephanie's versatility comes from her diversity in the industry over the years. Stephanie spends her off time with family, friends and her dog cheesy potato. She loves playing cards, volleyball, reading, watching football and cleaning!
